I don't regret this at all, I was able to save Sehun but yet I still feel bad that my family and love of my life is suffering. I was able to save him but my back got exposed to the explosion. Thankfully it didn't harmed me that much, due to the massive explosion and it impact my spinal cord was moved and I sustained injuries. If it would have been damaged more severely I would have died on the spot. But due to the explosion lower half of my body is now paralysed.
Its been a week since Baekhyun got to know about all this. He's with me 24×7, constantly taking care of me. I feel bad for him but even after trying to convincing him for so long there was no conclusion drawn out of it. He is staying with me in the same room which is not the best environment for my pregnant spouse. But as my spouse says, I would like to qoute is as it is :
"Our child is a strong soul. Our baby wants to be their father and support us at time like this. I don't think our child would be happy to be away from you. He's such a nice soul, he has not yet caused my any type of discomfort to me since I got to know about uts existence and won't cause it in future as well."
Thankfully Luhan is always here to look after him. It may not be most comfortable situation but I have also realised that staying here is the best for his emotional and psychological well being as well as comfort. He checks on me even through the night and I don't have anymore strength to act like staying away from him doesn't affects me. Without him I get surrounded and engulfed by all the negative thoughts and energy of this world. I am grateful to his presence that I feel peace.
"Hey" Baekhyun said as he entered the room.
"Hey" I replied as I was kissed by my sweetest spouse. He sat next to me on the bed and took out the tiffin box that was send by our grandma. My grandparents have always been strong even when they lost my mother and their only son. They have always been my strongest pillar and strength.
"Luhan just informed me your recovery is going well, and if your recovery keeps on going with the same speed that will start your rehabilitation from next month." He said as he was feeding me bone soup.
"Okay" I replied and opened my mouth for the soup.
"Yes and one more thing. Tomorrow I will get my first ultrasound. We will be able to see our baby Tomorrow" Baekhyun spoke happily. I took his hand in mine and kissed his hand.
"What?" Baekhyun questioned me playfully.
"Thank you for everything. EVERYTHING" I said as I pulled him into me for a tight and warm hug. We stayed like that for a while and enjoyed the warmth of eachother.

"It will be cold, Baekhyun" Luhan said as he was applying the gel for the ultrasound. As my condition was not favourable for movement, luhan decided to have the ultrasound in my ward only. He moved the ultrasound machine to my ward so that I could also meet our baby for the first time.
Baekhyun shivered as the gel was applied on his tummy. I was holding his hand tightly. I was so excited and nervous at the same time, my happiness was beyond words and thousands of emotions were affecting me at the same time.
"There is your baby" Luhan said as he pointed at the small ball like structure. I looked at baekhyun as we both smiled at eachother.
"By next month he will even develop his heartbeat and organs and by fourth month you will be able to see the tiny little version of your little baby" Luhan said chirpily.
"I can't wait for my baby" Baekhyun spoke with happiness written all over his face.
"Me too" I whispered. Baekhyun looked at me and smiled with tears in his eyes just the way I had the same tears in my eyes.
