CHALLENGE

AT BYUN'S HUMBLE ABODE

Knock knock
"Baekiee are you ready?" Mrs byun asked.

"Yes, mom just collecting my papers. Please set my breakfast I will be coming out in 5minutes" He said.

"Okay, your dad is waiting for you" she said and left.

Mr byun was sitting at the dinning hall with his newspaper in his hand. Mr byun was in his late 50s but was still quite fit for his age. A retired sergeant major who served in Korean army for 30 years. He retired and now he is using his time to enjoy his life that he was not able to when he was young as he was burdened with a lot of responsibility.

"Is he ready?" He asked his wife.

"Have you ever seen him late?" she chuckled and continued.

"He's ready and will be here in 5 minutes. I am setting our breakfast, you also eat with him okay" she said and left for kitchen.

Mrs byun was setting the dining table when Baekhyun came downstairs with his office bag. He greeted his father and sat next to him.

"Sora will be coming with lily today, so be back soon okay baekhyun and did you called your hyung?" She asked.

"Lily is also coming, I was missing my niece so much. Is Arthur coming with them as well?" He asked.

"I dont know but she will be coming with her baby to meet us. They will be leaving for America tomorrow" Mrs byun replied .

"Okay, I will miss my baby lily so much. And about hyung I talked to him he is fine, just busy with his work" he replied.

"Byun should I pick you up today after you are done with work. I will be picking up Sora, so I can pick you up as well" Mr byun said.

Baekhyun nodded and agreed with him.

They had their breakfast and Baekhyun left for his work. When Mr and Mrs byun were alone they again started the topic that have been concerning them from a very long time.

"Is he dating anyone" Mr byun asked.

"No, you already know his answer. He said he doesn't wanted to get married. Sora is younger than him and married before him but he never speaks about marriage. And if I ask him, I am given the same answer" Mrs byun said and continued.

"Momma, I will marry you if I will have to marry someone." She said mimicking Baekhyun.

Both of them started laughing. This beautiful couple was blessed with three kids. Their eldest son Baekjoon was the smartest out of the three, this couple had a lot of expectations from him but their child wanted a different life. During his masters he took monk hood, it left the couple flabbergasted. But they accepted his choice as they wanted their child to be happy.

Their second born Baekhyun, was always misunderstood. He was like a little ball of sunshine who will keep the people around him happy. He was quite a average student but did exceptionally good in high school, went to Seoul National university that surprised everyone. He worked really hard in high school and did really good in academic.

He is a highschool teacher and is doing his P.hd right now. He loves his job but his parents are most concerned about him as he doesn't want to get married. A lot of proposals were send for him. He was quite beautiful just like Mrs byun but he never agreed to any of the proposals. He always tell them that he wants to live like a bird, free from everything, he wants to fly high but they know he has his own insecurities.

Their youngest one is Sora their only daughter, she is 5 years younger to Baekhyun but she is already married and have a daughter. She fell in love with a American man and married him. Mr and Mrs byun was completely okay with it. Now they have a beautiful granddaughter Lily.
