My New Mommies

Chapter 6

{My POV}

"Let's continue." Momma said as she started pushing the Trolley while Mommy walked next to me as we headed into IKEA. Once we walked inside IKEA, we then started our furniture shopping, for me. Throughout the time I helped out picking out the things I need. "First stop: cribs and high chairs." Mommy said. While heading down the aisle, I pointed out to a white crib with blue bedding. I also pointed out a white high chair. After that, Mommy also picked out a blue bedding, to match with the high chair.

We then continued on to the changing tables where I pointed to a white changing table with a baby blue cushion color on the top. To accent it Momma also bough a white dresser, and an animal mobile. They were all placed into the trolley, with some help.

Once we reached to the wallpaper area. I looked at the designs until a vigorously pointed at the trains one. "Do you like that one baby?" Mommy asked and I nodded. "Can we make it work?" Momma whispered into Mommy's ear. "There's room." Mommy said as she walked over to the mural and grabbed the one I wanted.

As we got to the checkouts, Mommy went ahead and paid for everything. But then, I noticed some men coming in and taking everything away, which caused me sadness, Momma noticed and she gave me a hug.

"Aww, It's okay baby, They're not taking it away from us, they're delivering it to our house." Momma said as she took me out of the seat and cradling me in her arms. "Dewiver?" I asked while looking at Momma with pouty lips and teary eyes.

"Yes, we may have told a small lie to you earlier baby about how we would fit everything in our car, and the truth is, we couldn't, but we'll have people deliver and assemble everything at our house. The good news is though that we can still keep your toys with us, including Bella." Mommy said while she kissed me on my forehead.

I suddenly felt a lot better after learning I could keep my toys with me. So I forgave Mommy and Momma. After I forgave both Mommy and Momma, Mommy started pushing the trolley while Momma carried me. Before we left the store, Momma walked over to the bench and sat down. "Now, lets see if you made any other surprises before we head out." She said. Momma then placed her hand on the front of the nappy and felt nothing "No weewees.", She then placed me on her lap and pulled back the nappy. "No poopoos either, just a clean bum. That's a clean baby." Momma said as she picked me up and gave me a hug. 

Once we made it to the car, Mommy was there, already waiting for us. "Ready to head out?" Mommy asked. "Yeah lets go home." Momma said as she opened the car door and placed me in the car seat. 

Surprisingly, Mommy was right, we managed to fit my toys and even my clothes into the boot of the car, with a little trial and error of course, as the toys also included the toy chest which did take a little reworking. While Mommy was struggling with that, Momma finished strapping me into the car seat while I was 'talking' to Bella. After Mommy finished getting everything in the boot before getting into the driver's passenger seat and Momma sat in the driver's seat and we took off. 

While we were driving, I looked outside, while holding Bella, and I fell asleep.
