Ian’s POV

We walked side by side, trekking the way to the nearest café shop…it’s already 11:00 pm, a gush of wind blew by, as I steal a glance to look at the beauty beside me, a lock of hair lay in her face, and I dwindle my finger through that lock and placed it behind her ear.

Our ears lock, and we were like statue standing in the middle of the path…I was unable to remove my gaze and I am so lost just staring at those green orbs, with specks of gold.

She was the one who removed her gaze and blush once more. We arrived at our destination. We ordered both our coffee and seated at the far end of the café for a little privacy.

“So what brings a beautiful lass walking by herself in the middle of the night all alone?”

“Well I was actually was going to meet up with a friend but, he stood me up” she sighs…

“He?” as I clenched my fist into a ball, me and my wolf did not want to hear her meeting up with a guy, or any guy for that matter.

“Uhm yeah, well he said, he has a date with his bf” so…hey, what’s with that smile?

“Well, nothing, it’s just that I am just glad, he stood you up, and I was able to meet you”

‘’oh”, as she bit her lower lip once more,

She looks so delectable, I just want to ravage her and mark her as mine at this point. I told my wolf to calm down, because we can smell she is human and she might panic and would not understand any of this.

We continued doing small talks, when suddenly the lights went out…

There were only a few people in the café at this time, when I suddenly I felt that there is something wrong, my wolf senses came into action, there were rouges about four or five, I quickly grab Lust and placed her behind me, my instincts geared to protect my mate. She squeezed my arms, I felt her fear, and the bond is forming.

I heard a loud crash; I quickly carried her bridal style, out of the confines of the café. For me to be able to protect her more outside, since there will be more space.

We were out at the back of the café near the forest, when snarls from four huge wolves prevented our escape. Then the largest brown wolf, morphed, this must be the alpha of the rouges.

The rouge alpha spoke “Hmm interesting, you are with an alpha…We, just want the girl, and we will spare you little alpha, this is the only offer walked away now, we just need the girl”

“She is MINE! TOUCH her and you will all die!”

The booming laughter of the filthy rouge was heard,

“My- my, little Alpha that is the funniest thing I have ever heard… You cannot take us all, you are alone! Well Since you don’t want to hand over the girl, and then prepare to die!

As he lunges toward me and shifted into a werewolf, I quickly jump and shifted to a werewolf as well, all my senses was telling me one thing, protect my mate.  I snarl and bit his hinges, I heard her shout
