Walking back she though of the black wolf. He seemed too aware, to intelligent to only be a wolf. She knew about the legends of the Quileute reserve, she knew they were real. Wolfie, as she called him, seemed like the first shifter of the pack.

Shay was what we called an angel. Kind, compassionate and sweet. She knew how to calm someone fairly easily, she brought smiles onto people faces by only being in the same room as them. She was the Forest Guardian, animals would feel safe, nature would listen to her and even the supernatural felt calm around her.  She was untouchable in the supernatural world because of her status. She was almost considered a Queen, but she never took it for granted. She taught of herself as a friend for every living creature.

After her encounter with the wolf, she knew she had to go to La Push to know more of these shifter. The pack that, soon, would have to wander into these land will have to know about her and she wanted to know more of the people protectors. The shapeshifters begins to shift only if they sense an enemy nearby, the enemy in the legends. The Cold Ones, also known as vampires. The black wolf presences only suggest that there is a coven of vampires close to La Push. She was going to call Billy Black, one of the elders of the Quileute Tribe to know more of it.

Her walk back home left her thinking of what her father wanted to talk about. She taught nothing of it and continue her walk towards home. Following the signs of nature, birds and small bunnys helping her, she came back home in 15 minutes.

Opening the back door, she saw her father looking the news on TV in the living room. "Hey, dad! You have some news for me?" she asks.

"Hello, sweetheart. Yes I have some news and I don't know how you'll react to them" he seemed nervous almost scared. "What's wrong?"

"Bella is coming to live with us for the rest of high school!" he said that sentence in one breath. Looking in his daughter eyes, he saw the mild panic that in them. Charlie Swan may be awkward but he knew of how Renee and Bella were to her. Abusive is the only word that came to mind, the abuse may not be alot but enough for Shay to have small scar on her arms, legs and back and a fear of closed place.

Her breathing was labored, she was loosing focus, the voices of her father was getting distant until she felt the arms of her dad around her. Grounding herself in the arms of her father, she started slowly breathing in and out, she calm herself enough to stand on her own. "Are you okay, Hun? I know you don't like her but we will take precautions and everything will be fine. Ok?"

"Ok. I love you dad" she said looking into her fathers eyes. With a soft look and voice she heard " I love you too, baby girl"

"I am not really hungry so I will go shower and go to bed. I have class tomorrow." " Ok. See you tomorrow morning"

Going up the stairs she climb until she was in the attic. Her little safe space. Grabing her phone from her pocket she looked into her contacts until she found the one she was looking for: Uncle Billy. Pressing call she waited for an answer.
"Black residence" a teenagers voice said.
"Hey jake, it's Shay. Could I speak with Billy please?"
"Hey shay. Yeah just a moment i'm gonna pass him to you"
"Thank you!!" She heard the step of Jake in the phone until she heard the phone pass to her uncle.
"Hello shay. What can I do for you?"
" Hi billy! I have some things that I need to discuss with you. Is it okay if I come tomorrow after school?"
" Of course it's okay"
"Could jake come pick me up at school dad will be working late?"
"Sure, I'll tell him. See you tomorrow!"
"Bye bye!"

Hanging up the phone, she sorted out in her head everything she had to ask her uncle after school.
Taking her sleepwear ,consisting of black short and a black crop top with a wolf design, she went into her shower to clean herself. After showering she did her night routine, braided her hair and got to bed, wraped into her blankets she fell into a peacful sleep.
