Pounding noises were heard through out the forest. A massive black wolf was running wild, speeding away from a beautiful young lady who now has three scars across her soft tanned face.
'Monster. Your a monster. What have you done?! Why. Why? Why?!'
Wimpering was heard. He was in pain.
Sam Uley, a new shifter in the Quileute Tribe, just hurt his imprint. He didn't mean it. He would never hurt her intentionally not that he would hurt her in any way. He was mad at himself, at the world for making him this way. Why him?Everything was on overload. His sight was hightened. His scenting was enhanced. His hearing was ten if not twenty time better than before. Thats when he heard it, the soft voice carried by the wind. The entrancing sound that calmed his beast to total bliss.
He ran towards the sound, having the feeling to get close to the person doing those soft word. He saw an opening in the forest.
There she was. This petite human was sitting in the middle of a meadow covered by daisys. Birds flying over her head, a fox laying on her lap and a deer and her fawn slowly eating the grass behind her back.He stoped, looking at her in awe. As if she knew he was there. She looked in his direction, getting up slowly as to not scare him, she walked towards him with the eyes of the wolf following her every movement.
"Hello wolfie" she said in a soft tone. Her eyes, they looked almost like the living forest and the ocean. One eye green like the trees with specked of gold like the sun, the other crystal blue like the water with small dots of white like the rays of the sun pierced through the surface of the water. He was at peace for the first time in weeks. He found a friend, a good friend.
"You can come out I would never hurt a living creature" she said.
Sam came out of the forest slowly and with caution, noticing the the other animals have left in the mean time of him looking at her. "Beautiful" she said under her voice as she admired the sun rays hitting his black fur just right, making him look like he was coming out of the shadows.
He did the same thing as her, watching as the golden rays maked her look like an elf but with a hint of an angel mixed together. Her auburn hair glowing in the sunrays.
"What's wrong little one? Are you in pain?" her voice held concerned for the newly turned wolf. Wimpering came from the predator. He slowly slumped on the ground with her, putting his head on her lap. Slowly stroking his head, she hummed under her breath. "Just so you know my name is Shay wolfie"
An hour passed, Shay was now leaning against the wolf who was laid down on the floor of the forest, before the sound of a phone rang through the meadow.
From dad: When are you coming home? I have some news for you.
From Shay: I will be there in 30 min."I have to leave wolfie" waking him up gently. Sam got up shaking up his fur, with a look filled with questions he looked at her with brown eyes asking with them if he will see her again."I come here every two days even if it rains" Shay said with a soft smile on her face. Turning around she left in the direction of her house. Sam watched her leave with a slight skip in her feet, he turned around leaving the meadow behind promising to himself that he will come back.
Sam could still hear the soft humming of Shay across the wind. The birds joining in the song she was singing to him.
'Hope to see you again, Angel'
