We aren't on the road for too long. Which I'm honestly thankful for. I was still feeling a little sick from the trip and being car sick was not something I looked forward to either. As the car finally comes to a stop we all get out, and help gather and unload our stuff from the back of the car. The three guys go ahead first and get the place ready. I linger outside a bit. "Still getting used to people aren't you." I think and nod to myself. "I hate it when I'm right." I head towards the entrance to the guys' house. It's lovely. Neater than I expected and pretty cozy. This allows me to chill a bit. At least the OCD part of me is content. I make sure I don't let those thoughts slip out. I get a quick tour around the house and I'm shown a room. "You can stay here Dani." The three of them smile at me and I decide to hug them. "Thank you guys so much. This means a lot. If Keenan hadn't told you guys yet then I'll explain later if I must." They shake their heads. "Nah, he beat you to it. We pretty much know everything he knows." I blush a little. "So you know the reason I'm here then." They nod in agreement and the three of them "Awww" in unison. I cover my face and walk into the room. "Oh hush you guys." They all start laughing and leave me alone. Finally. I start unloading my stuff and get my belongings organized. I grab my charger and plug my now dead phone. "Pfft. Great now I have to wait." I get all my stuff put away and just sit on the neatly made bed. "I wish I had my guitar here with me." I thought I whispered but somehow Marcus heard me as he was walking past the room. He smiles at me and walks away. He comes back with an acoustic guitar. "Here you go. Have fun." I thank him and then he continues. "I've had her for a while. She's been in the attic just collecting dust. It belonged to my sister but she moved on from guitar." I immediately get up and hug him. "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you." He smiles and hugs me back. "You're welcome. Just take good care of her." I nod and let go. He smiles and walks away. I go back to the bed and examine the guitar. It's a Hummingbird. Gosh how I love the patterns and colors on the guitar's body. The fretboard looks intact and so does the bridge which surprised me a bit. The strings are a little old. "I can fix that when I get home. Or maybe later." I smile at the thought that comes to mind. "Hmmm... I'll ask Marcus later." I grab a cloth from my bag and begin cleaning and dusting the guitar. I begin playing a few chords and notes here and there. It sounds amazing for a guitar that hasn't been used in a while. I continue to look at it an Marcus joins me once again. He clears his throat. "It's a beauty really." He raises an eyebrow. "But..." I frown a little. Is it that easy to read me. I push that aside. "But, I'm not used to acoustic guitars." He sits on the corner. "That's a shame. I'd hate to put her back up in that attic." I hold the guitar close. "I mean, I would definitely want to learn it. But I kinda had an idea." He smiles and urges me to continue. "I was kinda hoping, with your permission, that I could give it to my babe as a present. We've been t-together for m-months now a-and" Goddamn it! I'm stuttering. This only happens when I'm nervous or asking for something I really want to do and don't want to get shut down for. He nods in understanding. "That sounds really sweet Dani. I say you go for it." He winks at me and I grin. "Thank you!" He hands me a pack of acoustic strings, and a leather strap. "I found these while I went back to look for the strap. I thank him again and he walks out of the room happily. I sigh in relief and can't stop smiling. Things are going better than perfect. Things are working out. I can't wait till I actually see the love of my life. Until I give them this guitar. Until I finally get to tell them I love them so much in person.
