Leonardo Williams set the alarm for 6:45 a.m. because school started at 8:00 a.m. He was usually very quick to get ready for school. It took him twenty minutes to wake up, shower, and eat a snack on the go. This, however, did not happen today.

Leo awoke at 7:20 a.m. to the sound of his phone exploding on the nightstand next to his bed. Leonardo had to pick up Tom on the way to school:

"Williams, where are you?" asked a friend on the other end of the line.

"I'm at home, sleeping," a drowsy Leo said, rubbing his eyes.

"Williams, it's already 7:20! Get your ass here as soon as possible!" Tom burst out laughing on the phone.

"Damn, I overslept!" Leo replied, checking his watch. "Wait for me, I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

"Hurry up, Williams," his friend urged.

Leo bolted from the bed and dashed to the shower. The cool water completely woke him up. He changed into a dark T-shirt and black jeans and gazed out the window. A warm, sunny day was foreshadowed by the clear blue sky. The young man made the decision to leave the jumper at home.

On the run, the young man drank a glass of juice and grabbed a sandwich. Leo started his car and arrived at Tom's house at 7:35 a.m.

The first day of school was a disaster. Everyone will brag about their new clothes and recall their summer vacations. Teachers will inform students about the upcoming school year's program and scare them with exams.

There were a lot of cars in the school parking lot. There was no space available. Those who arrived late were required to park outside the school yard. But Leo was calm. He had his own parking spot for the car, which, according to school tradition, belonged to the captain of the football team. No one dared to occupy it.

Leonardo drove confidently into the schoolyard and to his location. He was composed. Friends were making a joke. Suddenly, a douchebag right in front of Williams' nose parked his rattle car in his place.

Leo became very angry. When Tom saw the steam coming out of his friend's ears, he laughed.

"Yes," Tom murmured, "something is going to happen now. I don't envy the jerk who parked in front of you."

Leonardo assumed this was some kind of newbie who needed to be taught a lesson. He got out of the car, slammed the door behind him, slammed his fist on the hood of the impudent car, and started yelling loudly:

"Are you insane? Take the wreck out of my parking lot," Leo yelled angrily. He was waiting for a skinny guy, a newcomer who had transferred to high school, to get out of the car.

After the driver's seat door opened slightly, a young lady exited the vehicle. When she removed her glasses, Leo recognized her as a stranger from the beach.

In surprise, our hero opened his mouth, and the words became stuck in his throat. This was the same girl he had secretly photographed and kept pictures in his album after seeing her on the beach. The same stranger he was hoping to meet and make a good impression on.

Leo's face flushed. He hadn't anticipated such a turn of events. He was so embarrassed that he slammed his fist on the hood, called the car a "wreck," and told her to leave the parking lot.

It was as if he had been struck by lightning. He has lost his ability to communicate and think. Leo desired to sink into the ground. In such a situation, he was deafeningly silent and had no idea what to say. Tom first noticed his friend looking embarrassed and completely baffled. In the car, he was dying of laughter.
