The Wrong Princess

"Regina" Robin said and walked over to her. He kneeled down in front of her and wiped her tears away. "What has she done to you? Are you hurt?" He asked worried and got teary eyed as he saw her hair and cupped her cheek gently.

"Robin" she said softly and hugged him tightly. "She didn't hurt me physically. " she answered softly and glanced at her mother and frowned at the other people in the room.

Zelena felt so bad for not helping Regina sooner. Her beautiful hair was gone because of her.

"Regina...I want you to meet someone. " Cora spoke up and sighed as she glanced at Leopold and Snow. "Meet...." she began but struggled to finish the sentence. She had raised Regina. Regina was hers even if she only did it to make Zelena queen. "Meet your father King Leopold and your sister Snow White." She said after taking a deep breath.

Regina frowned. "King Leopold? But...but I thought my father's name was Henry. " she said confused and slowly got up with Robin's help.

Robin held her hand and rubbed her back gently. 

Cora sighed. "I...I lied to you. Leopold is your father. Henry is Zelena's father." She answered and glanced at Zelena and sighed again. "Henry is Zelena's father and I...I'm Zelena's mother. Your mother was queen Eva. She died when you were born. I switched you and Zelena. So my own daughter would be queen. But you, Regina, are the rightful heir to the throne." She finally revealed the whole truth and looked closely at Regina to see her reaction.

Regina was shocked. She looked at Zelena. "Did you know?" She asked her cousin.

Zelena nodded. "I did. But I only found out a few days ago. I'm sorry Regina. I wanted to get you out of here as soon as I found out. But she put a spell on me so I couldn't leave the castle." She explained. She felt so terrible for not being able to help Regina.

Regina nodded slowly. She knew Zelena was innocent. "I forgive you." She said softly and went to hug her.

"Regina " Leopold said softly and walked over to her. He looked at the girl closely and cupped her cheek carefully. "You look just like your mother." He said quietly and got teary eyed. He traced her cheek gently and noticed a slight bruise. He couldn't believe Cora did this.

Regina was at a loss for words. This was all a lot to take in. She had a father and a sister. And her mother wasn't her mother. It was all a lie. She got a bit stiff as her father cupped her cheek. She wasn't quite sure how to interact with him. Cora never really showed her love and affection. "I...I do?" She asked curiously.

Leopold nodded and wiped his own tears away. "Yes. You do. You look so much like her. I don't know how I never noticed it." He said softly, feeling bad for not noticing all of this sooner. Regina had been trapped in this prison all her life because he didn't notice it all sooner.

"It's not your fault. You didn't know." The young girl said softly and hugged her father and then looked at Snow. She had a big sister. She had always wanted a sibling. She went and hugged Snow too.

Snow smiled with tears in her eyes and hugged Regina tightly. The family was finally reunited. She couldn't believe that she never realized that Zelena wasn't her sister now that she looked at Regina and saw the resemblance between her and the girl and their mother. "I can't believe I never noticed it. I'm so sorry you were stuck here this whole time. " she said softly and stroked Regina's short hair.

Regina was a bit uncomfortable and unsure about all of this. This whole time she only had Cora and now she had to find out that it was all a lie. That she was a princess, the future queen. She couldn't do this. She wasn't prepared for this. She felt someone wrap their arms around her slim waist and looked up to see Robin. She turned around in his arms and hugged him tightly. "Did you know too?" She asked curiously and looked at him with her big brown eyes.

Robin shoke his head. He was shocked about all of this too but he was glad that Regina was actually his financée. That they were meant to be from the beginning. "No, my love. I didn't know anything. Zelena tried to warn me but she couldn't because Cora used magic on her. I love you, Regina. We are soulmates. " He told her and held her close. He loved her so much and he was so glad nothing had happened to her. He wouldn't have endured if anything bad happened to her.

"I love you too. " she said softly and kissed him carefully. She then turned to Cora and Leopold. "Does that mean I'm free? That I can leave the tower?" She asked,  still not quite sure about all of this.

Cora sighed deeply. She knew she couldn't keep Regina locked up any longer and she didn't want to lose her or Zelena. "Yes. You can come to the castle now. " she told the girl and waved her hand, moving all of Regina's things into the castle and then she transported everyone, including Regina, back to the castle. She knew she had lost and would probably be punished for her actions. She just hoped Zelena and Regina would be able to forgive her somehow.

Regina had never been around so many people or out of the tower for that matter. She looked around as they had been poofed to the castle and was in awe with everything. "This is all so beautiful " she said softly to herself and looked up as she felt Robin take her hand.

"And it's all yours." Robin told her and kissed her cheek lovingly. He was so glad Regina was alright now and finally out of that tower. She deserved to be free and see the world.
