Zelena sat in front of her vanity as her aunt Cora was doing her hair for her. "Aunt Cora, why do you always take care of me? We have maids for that. " the young princess pointed out and looked at the red head through the mirror.

"I just want to make sure you look perfect. You will meet your future husband today." The older woman explained and smiled. Today was a very special day indeed. Today Zelena would meet Prince Robin. They had been engaged ever since she was born and soon they would unite the two kingdoms.

The young princess sighed. She didn't look forward to the wedding. She didn't want to marry someone she didn't know. But she had no choice. She knew her father was counting on this wedding and she didn't want to disappoint him. "You think Father will be proud to have me as his heir?" She asked unsure.

Cora nodded slowly as she finished her hair. "Oh of course, my dear. He will be so proud of you. You were born to be queen." She said reassuringly and kissed her cheek gently. "Now I need to be off for a bit. I'll see you at tea time. " she told her niece and went to grab her cloak.

Zelena frowned. "Where are you always going during the day?" She asked curiously. Her aunt usually disappeared during the day and Zelena wanted to find out why.

Sighing the older woman looked at her niece. "Nowhere you need worry about, dear. I just have some business to attend to." She explained and then left the room.

Zelena wasn't satisfied with that answer and decided this time to follow her aunt. She got her horse from the stables and carefully rode after Cora. She frowned when her aunt stopped in front of a tower in the middle of the woods and stayed hidden as she watched her aunt climb up the tower with something that looked like hair. She looked up and saw a young girl stood by the window with indeed very long brunette hair. The girl looked around the same age as her. Was that her cousin? But her aunt had told everyone she died as a baby. This was really odd. Zelena needed answers.

The young princess rode home and quickly got changed into a mint green gown so she would look presentable for her father and Prince Robin. She looked herself over in a mirror and then went to meet with her father in the tea room.

Meanwhile at the tower Zelena hadn't been the only one watching the exchange between Cora and the girl in the tower.

Robin had been on his way to the castle to meet King Leopold and his financée Princess Zelena but then he heard the beautiful singing of a girl and he just had to find out where it was coming from. So he had followed the voice until he reached the tower and watched as a woman climbed up the tower with hair. He looked up and gasped as he saw the beautiful girl the hair and voice belonged to. She was truly out of this world. He had to meet her.

The young prince knew though that he had to go and meet his financée. He really didn't look forward to that. Robin wished he could chose for himself who he wanted to marry. He sighed deeply and started riding again towards the castle. But he swore to himself that he would return to the tower to see Regina.

---------------------------------------------------

"Father? Do I really have to marry Prince Robin?" Zelena asked her father curiously as she wasn't sure she wanted to marry someone she didn't know. She wanted to marry for love.

Leopold turned to his daughter and took her hand. "Zelena,  I know you are unsure. I was the same when I married your mother. But you'll learn to love him. Trust me. It will be alright." He said reassuringly and kissed her forehead carefully.

Soon Robin arrived at the castle. He was a little nervous to meet King Leopold and his financée.

"King Leopold. Princess Zelena." He said as he entered the throne room and bowed in greeting.

"Prince Robin. Welcome to our home. It's a pleasure to meet you." Zelena said softly and did a small courtsey. He was very handsome but she fall for him right away and she probably never would. It just didn't feel right.

Robin looked up at Zelena and their eyes met but there was no spark, no passion, just nothing. She was beautiful but he knew she wasn't the one for him. Maybe they could become friends though. He just had to meet that girl in the tower. He couldn't get her out of his head. "It's very nice to meet you too, princess Zelena." He said softly.

Then Cora stepped in and put a hand to Leopold's shoulder. "We should give them both some space, don't you think?" She asked her brother in law and smiled. She had waited so long for this moment. She couldn't wait for Zelena to be queen and for her to get married to Prince Robin. Everything was falling into place.
