It wasn't my fault.

The Bright Light.

I woke up ! My mom was tapping me on my shoulder, she asked me ''Are you going to the hospital to see Elisah? The doctor called three times already!!'' which i responded with ''Wait wait?! What h-happend to him?!'' ''Nothing i dont think.. they just have a lot of questions about him.'' I immediately jump out of bed, wondering what all these questions could be... have they found out something about Elisah? This must be urgent! Mom asked, ''Would you like me to drive you there'' I responded with ''Yes please! Im so worried about him!'' So i walked downstairs, and i was putting my jacket on! And i jumped into the passengers seat next to mom. Mom said ''Be careful! You'll hit your head on the celling and then we'll have two people in the hospital...''. It seemed to me that mom was driving as slow as she could... i said twice, ''Hurry up! we need to get to the hospital!!'' but mom replied ''Theres no rush, he's going no where.'' 

We arrived at the hospital, and it was far busier then i had expected, and we made our way to the third floor. As we walked out of the elevator we noticed that the doctors where standing around in a group just outside of Elisha's door. Mom asked ''What do you think their doing, why are they standing outside of his room?'' They look like they dont know whats happening'' my mom said ''Im going to ask them! Stay right here okay?'' I replied with a simple ''sure...'' and my mom approched the doctors and started to speak to them... and i took that moment into my advantage and sneaked past them into his room. 

I opended the door as quietly as i could, squeezing myself between the door and the door post. And closed the door behind me as if nothing had happend. And... Elisha was awake! And sitting at the side of the bed, he seemed perfect.. had no burn marks at all... just that same smiling expression... and he suddenly stood up! And came towards me, he brushed past my shoulder like he hadn't seen me! I turned and called, ''Where are you going...?'' But he just opened the door and walked straight passed the doctors who were still talking to my mom.. it was just like they hadn't seen him!! 

I hadn't noticed before how bright the corridor looked, especially at the end of the hallway... i called once again but Elisha, just slightly turned his head.. he looked more happier then ever. He walked to the end of the corridor which seemed to be getting brighter and brighter, shielding my eyes from this bright light! Which now engulfed the whole of the corridor! I wondered.. is it only me who can see this?  Elisha turned to me and waved... just like he was leaving, this would be our last time together. As he walked into the light, the lightcompletly vanished, and i was left in what just seemed like darkness.

I suddenly heared this screaming voice, it sounded like my name...''Where are you going?!'' my mom said, ''Our neighbour's room is here! Stop daydreaming! We wont be in here too long.. we just want to see how he is.'' I thought to myself... Elisha isn't in there and said to mom ''He left! Look he left!'' mom looked confused... ''Whos left...'' she asked ''Elisha of course!'' and mom looked at me like i was from another planet! ''And who is Elisah..? Is he someone you know?'' I thought to myself.. what happend? Why doesn't mom remember him? I went with mom into the room and there was just my neighbour's son, luka.
