The paasamalar duo walked to the parking and found Ashwin there, Sivaangi stopped dead on her tracks and her brother also stopped.
"Papa naa vena car'a inga kondu varatta?", he asked and she shook her head, "Illa ne paravaala vaanga", she said.
They walked towards the car, "Yenna machchan kelambiyaacha?", Ashwin asked patting Pugazh, "Aama papa'va drop pannanum kaalama recording irukaam", he said.
"Apo naa drop panren da nee veeta po", Ashwin said, "Illa venaam Ashwin anna amma appa'va paakanum endu sonnaar", Sivaangi said quickly.
"Apdiyaa? seri ma, seri machchan naalaikku paakalaam", he said and left, Sivaangi blinked her eyes to stop herself from crying as he didn't even notice how she called him.
"Papa naa unakku muthalle sonnen, aven kooda distance maintain pannu, kooda close aagatha endu", Pugazh anna said and Sivaangi looked down guiltily.
She remembers that day clearly, the first day of cwc2 her brothers told to maintain some distance, but she didn't listen to them.
Flashback
After the first part of shoot, all were in the room, when Pugazh anna, Rakshan anna and Bala anna pulled Sivaangi aside who was talking with Pavithra.
"Anne, yennaachu?", she asked and the brothers glared at her, "Moraikaatha ne", she said and their glare softened.
"Thangam naa Ashwin kooda muthal pazhagi iruken, nalla paiyen, driven towards work, aana athukaaga kooda close aagatha da", Rakshan anna said.
"Yen ne?", she asked confused, "Sonna kelu Sivaangi, unmaiyaa oruthana intha kaalathula nambelaathu", Bala anna said.
"Anne loosu maari pesaatha ne", she said defending Ashwin and the brothers were shocked that their baby innocent sister was talking like this.
"Sivaangi", exclaimed Sharath, who had just walked towards them and heard the last conversation.
Sivaangi blinked, shocked about herself and looked at her brothers who were too much in shock, "Anne sorry ne etho yosichikittu pesitten", she said tears welling up in her eyes.
Bala anna moved from his trance and nudged the others, Rakshan anna wiped her tears and Bala anna said it was ok.
"Papa naa unga mulu kathailayum irukkala aana ithu Ashwin'a pathi enda, please Bala solramaari konjam distance maintain pannu", Sharath anna said and Sivaangi looked at him shocked.
"Anne neeyuma?", she asked and Sharath anna shook his head, "Papa naa innaikku thaa aven kooda pair aanen, nalla paiyen konjam kovam kooda, theriyaama hurt panniduraan, unakku apdina annangalaala thaanga mudiyaathu da kanna", Sharath anna said.
Sivaangi was full in tears now, she can't go against her brothers, but she doesn't want to abandon Ashwin.
The only way was to prove that Ashwin is right and good and was nothing as her brothers were saying.
"Seri ne", she said and the brothers smiled and left her alone to think as Mani akka and Sunita came to talk.
She explained it to them and they were actually supportive to her plans, but agreed to what her brothers said also.
"Screen'ukku munnaala ok Sivaangi aana un brothers solra maari konjam distance maintain pannu da", Sunita said.
Sivaangi looked at her and only saw genuine concern and care in her eyes and words, "Aama Sivaangi distance maintain panni kitte nee sari endu prove pannu", Mani akka said and Sunita nodded.
Sivaangi also agreed, but later on she failed to maintain that distance...
Flashback ends.
She had failed, in order to prove Ashwin she had failed herself and her brothers, she had lost herself.
She didn't realize that she had sat in the car, but the apply of brakes made her come to her senses and she saw that she had arrived to her house.
They both parked the car and got down, without any word she went into her room and locked herself in the bathroom.
She heard Pugazh anna talking to her parents and brother and she felt tears slide down her eyes, she had betrayed her parents trust too.
She was crying so hard and got into the shower when she heard a knock, "Papa anna kelamburen naalaikku paapom", Pugazh anna said.
"Seri ne", she said trying to hold her voice from breaking and again she was left with nothing but silence except the running of water from the shower.
She quickly showered herself and went out thanking the god in a way, that she didn't run after Ashwin forever without knowing his true intentions.
She went out and met with her family, they didn't question her anything, they gave her the space needed and she was grateful for that.
She ate quickly said good night to her parents and her brother and went to her room and sat on her bed deleting everything related to Aswin from her phone.
She had the recording at 8.00 the next morning and she was happy about it, was, but now she hoped that it would skip an hour or two so she could spend time in her bed.
Just as she was thinking about calling her bro at work(Siva anna), a call came making her smile unlike anything that day.
It was Anirudh's call and she attended, "Hello", she said
"Hi ma"
"Sollu pa"
"Illa ma naalaikku 10.00'ku recording maathi irukku konjam time crash aagittu athunaala thaa, nee naalaikku nalla thoongi rest eduthu'ttu vaa ma. Atha solla thaa call pannen"
"Oh apdiyaa seri pa", she said a bit happy, but still down from the previous events that day.
"Yenna aachu ma? Yen kural oru maari irukku?", Ani asked noticing the difference.
Ashwin used to note the difference in my voice when he first came whether it was happy or sad, Sivaangi thought.
"Kanna unnathaa ma"
"Naa ok pa konjam tired'a irukku innaikku cwc2 celebration shooting full day irunthichu"
"Oh apdiyaa, endaalum nee ipdi illaye, athuvum Ashwin'a paarthuttu vanthaa nee romba happy'a iruppiye", he said in a teasing voice, but Sivaangi only felt pain.
"Some things change, kan katti thanamaa irunthuten, ipo reality therinjathu valikuthu", she said words pouring out of her mouth without realizing.
Ani understood that definitely something was wrong, "Nee naalaikku record mudinjona unna naa drop panren'du amma appa'ku sollu, konjam pesanum"
"Venaam pa unakku yethukku siramam?"
"You trust me right? enakku oru siramum illa, you know what? nee onnum panna theva illa naa amma appa'ta pesuren nee ipo onnum yosikkaama thoongu"
"But-"
"No buts, sleep tight, goodnight, bye"
"Bye", she said and cut the call thinking, should I tell Ani about what happened?, she thought to herself lying down on the bed.
She soon drifted to sleep still debating the thoughts...
