"Maaplay'a?", Ashwin asked and Sivaangi averted her eyes from the boys, "Aama machchan, athu apdi thaa", Pugazh said and Sivaangi held Ani's hand and closed her eyes praying for this to stop.
Thankfully her prayers worked and they called Ashwin and Pugazh inside, Sivaangi exhaled her breath and heard a chuckle next to her.
"Summa iru kanna, vaa pa ulla povom", she said pulling him who went with her, they met with Vivek and Mervin who greeted them.
After seating themselves Ani got up, "Oru call pesittu varen ma", he said and she nodded as he went out.
Sivaangi kept looking at the time which was noticed by Ani who came back, "Yenna aachu ma?", he asked, "Shooting irukku'la pa", she said.
"Naa innaikku cancel panna solliten", he said and she looked at him shocked, "Free'ya iru ma", he said and she smiled and held his arms.
The event started soon and they called Ani first and he sang 'cute ponnu' looking at Sivaangi who blushed and looked at Teju akka, talking to her as if she didn't see him.
Soon it was time for her to sing and she went Ani gave her his hand and helped her onto the stage before he himself going down to the audience.
She sang her best and the others danced for it, she smiled at her brother but averted her eyes when she met Ashwin's.
After the singing and all, the trailer was released which she thought was good, but didn't make her as excited as she thought it would.
After that the host called the team to the stage where they seated one by one, "Innaikku hero and heroines'kku special song paada let's welcome Anirudh", the host called.
Sivaangi looked at him shocked, to which he smiled back at her, he had hid this info from her, she smiled and shook her head.
Surprise will never work with her, she thought because she knew Ani so much, it has been nearly a year since they became 'friends'.
"Thank you sir innaikku ivalo effort eduthu engalukku intha performance paadrakku", the host said and Ani smiled and said it was nothing.
The bgm started to play...
