She sat on her bed unable to comprehend anything, why is this happening to me?, she asked herself holding herself together.

Naa ivalo anbu paasam irukura aakal'a vittutu yen Ashwin pinnaala ponenen? but I can't give myself away again, she told herself and started dressing.

She washed her face one more time and went out smiling brightly at the thought of singing, Ani was laying on her mom's lap probably talking about new projects and all.

She came in and he saw her and smiled getting up, "Kelambuvom'a?", he asked and she nodded, but he frowned suddenly and she looked at him questioningly.

"Orukka vaa ma", he said taking her into her room, "Yenna aachu pa?", she asked and he took something from her dressing table.

"Kanna?", she asked and he turned and touched her forehead making her close her eyes as she felt something, pottu.

He took his hand away and she opened her eyes and looked into his eyes who was looking back with a softness.

"Ipo kelambalaam kanna", he said and she smiled, "Thank you pa", she said and he looked at her fake offended.

She laughed and pushed him, "Seri seri no thank you and no sorry, ipo kelamabalaam", she said pushing him out along with herself.

They both were laughing when they met their parents outside and left bidding them bye and getting their blessings.

They were going to Ani's studio, singing and laughing when, "Seri nethu yen upset'a iruntha endu solriyaa ma?", he asked and her smiled dropped immediately.

"Onnum illa pa", she said for the first time hiding something from Ani ever since she knew him and looked outside.

For some reason she couldn't look at him directly in his eyes and lie, "Seri ennata solla virupam illa endaa paruvaala aana at least oru clue thaa ma", he said and she looked at him as he parked at the studio.

He looked at her and their eyes met, "Naa unkitta irunthu ethayum maraikamaaten kanna, aana recording'ku aprom sollata?", she asked.

He smiled and nodded cupping her face and kissing her forehead, "Nee yepo ready'o appave sollalaam, naa wait pannuven ma", he said and she felt her heart shatter.

Why is he so kind to me?, she thought to herself, "Seri vaa ma", he said and they both got and down and went to the studio.

She found it empty except for themselves, "Yen yaarume illa?", she asked Ani as he switched on everything needed.

Normally at least there would five people in the room except them, but today it seems it was not the case.

"Nethu nee phone pesuna piraggu naa movie song recording'a cancel panniten, innaikku just a free recording", he said and she looked at him shocked.

"Apo paatu verayaa?", she asked and he nodded giving her one of the 2000's(2000-to current) movie song and she looked at it reading the lines.

She looked up at him shocked, "Kanna I... yepdi?", she asked and he shrugged, "Yetho thonichu", he said and she hugged him.

"Thank you", she whispered and he didn't protest this time because he understood her state somehow.

"Always", he said and she pulled away and sat on his chair, if it was anyone else he would have chewed their ears out, but she was exceptional.

"Ithu oru paata?", she asked and he nodded, "Venumnaa innonu add pannalaam", he said and she shook her head.

"Itha paadittu venum'naa poaduvom", she said and he said ok and they started the recording...

Listening to the starting bgm itself brought tears in her eyes and she sang it extraordinarily, Ani got up and clapped.

She wiped her tears and smiled, "Innoru paatu poaduvoma kanna?", he asked and she thought, "Poaduvom pa", she said.

Ani went through some songs and picked another one and came into the recording studio, "Ithu rendu perum sernthu", he said.

She said ok and looked at the song reading through it and smiled knowing how much Ani understood her.

"Ithu venaam pa, for some reason I feel like he doesn't deserve this song", she said and gave the lyrics back to Ani.

"Yaar ma?", Ani asked and Sivaangi looked up into his eyes sadness in hers, "A-", "Ashwin", she was cut off by him and she nodded.

"Seri", he said and gave the other lyrics which he was holding and she didn't even bother to question why he was holding the other paper.

She read it and nodded and started as Ani went out, "Ithu neeye paadidu ma", he said in the need of wanting to know what happened the previous day.

She nodded understanding his hurry and chuckled softly...

She couldn't take it anymore, she broke down sliding to the floor and Ani immediately rushed in and held her as she cried her heart out.

He knew her breaking point was on the edge when he brought her in for the recording at the first place and he purposefully did this so she wouldn't hurt herself when she was alone.

"Valikuthu pa", she cried, "Yen'nu therila it's just... a crush, lo...ve panren'aa endu ko...oda therila, aana aven... pesina vaarthaigal mullu ma...ari kuthuthu", she cried holding on to his jacket.

"Naa innoruthen kidaichaa avan'a... avan'a crush endu solli kittu thi...riven endu sonnan", she sobbed and Anirudh got really angry.

How could Ashwin tell something so disgraceful to his angel?, he thought, "Kanna nee apdi illa ma", he said while she sobbed.

"Naa immature'am, enaakku unmaiyaana love yennana theriyaathaam, naa ival'a naal senja ellaame poi'yaam", she said while he stroked her hair softly kissing her head.

"Ani naa orutharukkum poi'yaa irunthathu illa, why... why did... he say that? and why am I getting... hurt this much?", she asked.

"Aven un anba deserve pannala ma, unna deserve pannala", he said and paused taking a deep breath, as this was going to break him.

"You love him kanna", he said feeling his heart break but held himself for her, she moved away from his hands realizing he was telling the truth, even though she knew it before and backed to the wall muttering 'No' again and again.

"It's ok ma, it's ok to fall in love kanna", he said and opened his arms and she crawled into his hand.

He rocked her back and forth, "I don't want to love him", she whispered, "Apo maranthudalaam, naa epavum un kooda irupen", he said and she nodded melting into his hand.

They both stayed there holding each other, one broken beyond repair and fragile, the other ready to repair and unyielding.
