3rd Person's Pov

Gabriel spoke first, "why won't you join me? We could have all the power in the world! Don't you think that would be amazing?" Emilie gaped at her husband, "no! That wouldn't be amazing, that would be horrible. We already have royal statuses and have much power as it is. I don't think we need any more than we currently have. I will not be joining you and I will be leaving you. I'm sorry but it's got to happen."

Now it was Gabriel's turn to gape.

"I beg your pardon?" She stared at him with tears in her eyes yet was still determined. "I'm sorry...but it has to happen..." he stared in disbelief. "But that means..." "yes, that means you will be out of the royal family. You're being just like Tom...you're actually in the same position believe it or not." She chocked out a sob and turned away hiding her face. "Listen, I am not leaving you because I don't love you. No. I'm leaving you because I really don't want to be part of this. I don't want to be on the bad side, I wanna be on the good side. We're meant to be there Gabriel. We're meant to give support, not push people down."

The man stared at his wife, soon to be ex-wife, in utter shock. "So you're leaving me because you think i'm insane or something?" Emilie turned to him dumbfounded, "no! I never said that, I said i'm leaving because I don't wanna be on the bad side. Why can't you get it in your head that YOU'RE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT!" The sad tears became angry tears and her shattered heart was breaking even more. "I have stood by you all this time and I can't do this anymore."

She rose in her seat and walked over to the open window for air. "Listen, once you've stopped terrorising the city and using other people's emotions for your person gain. Come back to me, we'll talk things over. I wouldn't want anything more...I promise. But if you can't change your mind now, consider us never existing." She then left the room without a single glance, and a failed attempt to stop him.

A knock was heard on the door of the room, the door opened to reveal a saddened Adrien. "Mother? Please don't tell me..." he whispered on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry," she chocked out, unable to hold back the pain in her voice. Adrien made way for his mother to walk in the room. There she saw an overly angry Marinette and a dishevelled Luka holding her down. "Mrs Agreste...hello," he smiled awkwardly at the extremely confused lady. "Nothing to see here..." a vexed Marinette groaned in failure to escape her brother's grasp. "Can someone please help me here?! She's going insane," he may be beyond frightened of his sister, but nevertheless, he still loved her.

They got some scarfs and belts, the tied her down to a chair. They tied around her waist, her chest, her wrists, her thighs and ankles. Luka needed to make sure Marinette wouldn't break free. He stood next to her, out of breath, but still keeping a close guard on her.

"So mother..." Emilie looked at her son in curiosity. In all honesty, she had forgotten her original need to be there. All three of them had pitched in to tie an angry Marinette up. "What happened with you and father? You seemed pretty down when you came over here." The woman sighed in realisation and looked down in shame. "Your father and I are taking a break for the moment..." Adrien's breath got caught in his throat as he tried to reply to her. Emilie just continued talking. "There is a possibility we will get back together, but I doubt it'll be soon." She looked up at Adrien sadly, "i'm so sorry darling," she chocked out.

All three children stayed silent. No one dared to speak or mutter a single sound. "It's alright mother, it's not something you can control and I understand that. If you'll excuse me," he made his way to the door and continued, "I just need some air." Then he walked out with a shook Sabine walking in hurriedly. She slammed the door closed, yet quietly, and took a deep breath. "Mama? Are you alright?" She looked at her daughter while still breathing heavily. "Your father-...sweetheart, why on earth are you tied up to a chair? And with belts and scarfs?" "Reasons," Luka answered for her, "what's going on with father?" "He's...having a tantrum," "because...?" "Because he's trying to stay together. He said he 'needs' the money to survive, so I offered to hand him some. You know, so he could support himself before going back to his family and all. He didn't like that. He started yelling and whining, I had to run."

Everyone stared in absolute shock. Marinette knew her strength better than anyone else, and knew survival skills.

Those self defence classes now come in handy.

She repetitively puffed her shoulders and chest loosening the scarfs. She continued by twisting her body to loosen the belt around her waist. Nothing was working as effectively as she thought so she gave up her stealthiness. The girl began violently moving around her body and yelling causing everyone to look at her.

"No seriously...why are you tied up sweety?" "Because she was about to kill someone, i'm surprised she hasn't gotten akumatized yet to be honest." "I can control myself enough to not turn into she-hulk and create havoc in Paris," she said with attitude dripping from her voice. "Mood..." Luka whispered to no one in particular, though Marinette heard and rolled her eyes. "Alright then..." silence filled the room being thicker than ever.

Marinette's blood ran cold in realisation, "mama..." "yes darling?" "Did you leave papa there...alone while he was mad?" "Yes? You don't expect me to stay there do you?" Emilie seemed to catch on what the girl was saying and, she too, sat there wide eyed. "Let me out of these scarfs," "no," "YES LUKA, LET ME OUT. Unless you want our father to turn into a villain being under Hawkmoth's control, I suggest you listen to me." He finally realised what she was saying and sprinted at the speed of light to untie is sister.

Sabine went to make her way to the door until she was stopped by a gentle hand on her arm. Turning around, she comes face to face with a sympathetic Emilie. "Maybe you shouldn't go, i'm not saying this is any of your fault, but he might not exactly want to see you right now. I think it's best to let Marinette go herself." She sighed, "you're right," as if on cue, Marinette zipped past them and out the door. "She'll be alright, she'll be fine," Sabine tried convincing herself while rocking back and forth.

Marinette hadn't been back for a while and things seemed awfully quiet. Just as Luka was about to say something, screaming was heard. Not just anyone's scream.

Marinette's scream.

They looked outside to see people scattered everywhere seemingly frightened of something.  Or rather someone.

Yelling.

Screaming.

Crying.

Shaking.

Nothing could be deciphered, "what's happening? Was that Marinette screaming?" Her mother looked outside frantically to try find a certain bluebell girl. It didn't take either three of them long to spot the giant man roaming Paris as if he had no care in the world.

He was some sort of animal, a werewolf. He was giant and muscular. The villain had vines around his waist hitting people. Though instead of those people running away, they followed him like an army. His loud, deep voice roared them instructions. "I want you all to go to as many people as you can. Add them as my followers, include them as family. I want one of you to find Sabine Dupain-Cheng, bring her to me. The Eiffel Tower, at the very top. You must all obey!"

The minions then spread around tapping people, those people then continued to do whatever the rest were doing. The villain then stormed over to the Eiffel Tower with his fists clenched. Luka looked at the moving thing in his fist and breathed out only one word before running out of the room.

"Marinette..."
