3rd Person's Pov

Luka walked into the room hearing the lock on the bathroom door. "Marinette? Are you still here?" "Y-yeah," "did you just stutter?" Luka started laughing at his sister's talking. "Hey! You meanie!" "I am not a meanie for your information! What's wrong? Why did you lock yourself in the bathroom?"

Marinette froze attempting to find an excuse.

"U-uh...I need to go to the bathroom?" Marinette face-palmed at her silly excuse. "Ok...but did you really need to lock the door? I mean I'm not gonna just walk in without knocking."

The girl looked at her kwami for help but if the kwami spoke, Luka would hear her.

"Marinette?" "Y-yeah?" "Are you ok?" "U-um, yeah I-I'm f-fine!" Luka didn't buy it one bit. "Are you sure? You're stuttering, you sound scared an- IS THERE A BOY?!" "NO LUKA! WHY ON EARTH WOULD THERE BE A BOY IN MY BATHROOM?" "I DON'T KNOW YOU TELL ME BOY HIDER!" "I AM NOT HIDING ANYONE IN HERE! I am simply sitting on the floor," "you said you needed the bathroom. Why would you be sitting on the floor?" "Um, because I finished using the bathroom..." "and you didn't flush or wash your hands?"

If Marinette wasn't stressed before, she sure is now.

"U-uh um..." "Marinette what's wrong?" She could hear the sincerity coming from her brother's voice. "It's nothing really Luka..." "are you sure? You're never like this," he sat in the floor with his back against the door. Marinette noticed the boy's actions and did the same. (like in that one frozen scene when elsa and anna are sitting against the door)

"Marinette? You know you can talk to me right?" The girl looked at her kwami asking for permission to tell him, Tikki shook her head no. The girl sighed, "I know Luka, I know...have you ever had a huge responsibility just, thrown at you before?" "I mean yeah I guess, taking care of you was a big responsibility. Being the prince of China is a huge responsibility too. There's a few things, why?" "O-oh uh nothing, just needed some a-advice..." "uh ok? Need any advice about anything else?" Her kwami nodded knowing her new holder wouldn't say something she shouldn't. She did it once, she can do it again. "U-uh y-yeah, if it's o-okay with y-you..." "of course it is Mari, come on, talk to me."

She took a deep breathe, "have you ever had to pick between 2 options before? I mean you obviously have but like when it's an emergency?" "Like life or death?" "Yeah sure," "Marinette what's going on?" Silence. "Ok well no I haven't, maybe ask Alfred or something, maybe Alya or Nino? There is also mum and dad but I don't recommend asking them. They'll force the truth outta you when you don't say anything." "U-uh ok, um, would you mind passing me my phone really quickly?" "Sure."

When Marinette got her phone she sent a quick text to Alya.

Master Fu's Pov

ze flashback of ze master fu
I was doing my usual meditation and massaging in my little building I own. My kwami Wayzz suddenly got my attention. I knew it was something urgent otherwise he wouldn't risk being seen by a civilian. "Master! Master!" The man I was helping looked at me weird, "this is a chant for the process, master, master. Oh, look at the time! Off you go now, appointment finished, thank you for coming!" I pushed him out of the door quickly and turned my gaze to Wayzz. (YALL I RHYMED UNINTENTIONALLY IM DR SUESS)

"Master, I sense an energy. It's no normal energy though, I sense it's a bad energy. Master, do you think it's time...?" I immediately knew what he meant. "Yes Wayzz, I believe it is time. Paris could be in great danger at the moment."

Meanwhile with Gabriel...

Back to Master Fu's flashback...

"Master, please pick wisely, we wouldn't want these in the wrong hands." I nodded at my dear kwami, "yes Wayzz. I will strive to pick wisely, these miraculous' won't be in the wrong hands." "How are you so sure Master?" "I know the exact method of seeing who is worthy of being a protector of Paris." We shared sincere smiles and I got the miraculous of the black cat and ladybug. I headed out the door with my cane I supposedly 'needed' because of my age.

ze flashback of ze Master Fu has ended

I was walking around Paris hoping I'd see some people, it wasn't busy today which worried me. I soon passed the Bourgeois Hotel with the Agreste Palace across the road from it. I saw a few people walking out from a limousine and decided I'd give my plan a shot.

I started walking with my cane and 'slipped'. People were walking right past me and didn't even notice that they were kicking my cane. I was beginning to lose my hope until a young girl came and helped me. She passed me my cane, helped me up and made sure I was alright. She was in fact the princess of China. I wasn't gonna give her the miraculous because of her wealth, but because of how she treated the situation.

I knew she did it out of pure respect for others. If she had done it because she was told to she wouldn't have made sure I was alright. She wouldn't have helped me with a smile and concerned face. If she had done it so she could make a good impression, her brother would've done something. Of course I don't blame her brother for not helping me. He wasn't looking in my direction while the princess had been being very observant. That's another good trait of a hero. You would want to be observant so you can help people in need of assistance.
