Marinette's Pov

When we were on our way home, I couldn't help but feel annoyed. Some girls would try to be my friend for my brother, some for my fame and popularity. Some for the fact I'm a princess and so that they can brag to their friends. But what annoyed me most was that all the girls were staring at Luka dreamily.

Like- LOOK AWAY AND MIND YO BUSINESS!

Gosh, what's so amazing about him to make everyone fall head over heals for him? I'm gonna ask him about it, maybe he said something or whatever.

When we got to our hotel room I shut the door with a stern face. He seemed to be smiling but when he saw my face, that smile dropped. "Uh...hey Mari...what's u-up?" He seemed scared. Oh wait, he does get scared of me because of my strength, hehe. I've been doing boxing for a while so he knows I can fight. Probably why he's scared. "What's gotten you so happy? Also why have all the girls stared at you dreamily?"

3rd Person's Pov

Some of Luka's stress went down as it wasn't as important as he thought. He took a moment to think, the girls have been staring at him weirdly.

Luka's Pov

I just realised, girls have been staring at me today. Maybe because I'm so handsome...yeah let's pretend that's true. Anyway, why was Mari mad at that?

3rd Person's Pov

"I- wait...I just realised, they have been staring at me. Probably because I'm so amazing!" Luka seemed a little too confident with his statement. "Yeah, and I have neon green hair. Luka, it's a bit annoying," "then it's even," "even?" "Yes, I get annoyed at guys winking at you and you get annoyed at girls staring at me." He had made a pretty valid point there that Marinette couldn't argue with. "That's...fair. But how is that a good thing to be even on-? I'm having a shower." He shrugged his shoulders and took a nap because he was a bit tired.

When Marinette got into the bathroom she gave Tikki a cookie and asked her to look away. Of course, she obeyed and respected her owner's privacy.

"MARINETTE WAKE UP!" Luka was screaming in Marinette's ear at 3am because of an akuma. "Wha-what? What- time?" She was half asleep so in the middle of her question she fell asleep like 5 times. "AKUMA MARINETTE, AKUMA! WAKE UP," Marinette's eyes shot open rapidly knowing she needed to transform. "Akuma? U-uh, u-um, where are you g-gonna g-go?" "What?" "You need to hide dummy, you can't stay in the room, find somewhere safe!" "Uh- and you?" "U-uh I'm going to find somewhere different so that we both don't get found in the same place...?" It came out more of a question rather than a statement which confused Luka a little. "Ok? Well, be safe, I love you," "I love you too, now go!" He nodded and left the room, when she was sure he was gone, "Tikki, spots on!"

Meanwhile in the Agreste mansion...

"KID WAKE UP THERES A DANG AKUMA FOR SOME REASON!" "What?! For some reason~? Plagg, there's been akuma attacks lately calm down, what time is it? Oops, it's dark out, I probably missed my whole day! My parents aren't gonna be happy." "Kid- It's literally 3am- TRANSFORM AND FIGHT THIS AKUMA SO WE CAN SLEEP!" "3AM?! ALRIGHT UM- Plagg, claws out!"

The two teens ended up on the news station building at the same time. "Hey M'lady! Nice to see you again," he said while kissing her hand. "Yeah, hi kitty cat. We need to find out where his akuma is, I need my sleep!" "Yeah, I do too, this is too early for me. Cute little kittens like me need their beauty sleep," he commented while acting posh. "Well Cat, I can't exactly agree with the cute part or the beauty sleep part. I'm just not gonna agree on anything you just said and I'm gonna forget you said it. Now, where do you think the akuma is?" Cat acted offended by the comment but then saw the determination in her eyes. That's not the only thing he saw.

He saw about 50 shades of beautiful blue all representing her amazing qualities. Light blue like the sky showing her kindness and love towards others, her gentleness and happiness. He saw a bit of a darker blue showing courage and determination, bravery and the will to strive. He saw tiny specks of an elegant dark blue like the midnight sky showing ambition, pride and strength. He saw all the ravishing shades of blue you could and couldn't think of in those one pair of breathtaking eyes. He thought to himself, I could stare at those eyes all day if I had the chance. Which wasn't a lie, he could, and he would if it were an option, but it wasn't at the time, there was a mission. People's lives at risk, Paris at risk and someone who needed saving from the control of a horrible man.

"-at? CAT! CAT NOIR!" He was instantly shook out of his thoughts by his partner grabbing his attention. "There's no time to stare, we need to fight this villain and save the person under control of Hawkmoth! I need my beauty sleep! Now chop chop," "huh- YES! Let's- let's save this uh, person..." "what were you not even asleep? Why are you being so restless and stary? Anyway, come on," and they were off, jumping from rooftop to rooftop chasing after the villain that was destroying their home city.

le magical time skip to after the fight when they defeated the villain and cleansed the akuma coz i suck at writing fight scenes 🤠👍

"Pound it!" They said in unison just before their miraculous started beeping. "Well, there's my que to leave, see ya kitty! Bug out!" In a blink of an eye, she was gone, off to her hotel room.

Luka's Pov

WHERE IS MARINETTE?! I TOLD HER TO HIDE UNTIL THE AKUMA WAS FAUGHT NOT FLEE THE COUNTRY! She has to be somewhere, she couldn't have gone far.

It's been a few minutes since the akuma was defeated and she's still not here yet. I think I saw Ladybug swing by our window but I didn't think much of it. She's probably heading home, I thought. Just as she was out of sight, Marinette came through the door. I rushed over to her and engulfed her in a hug. "Oh my gosh Marinette, I thought something happened to you! Where were you? Why'd you come here so late?" "Sorry, I got a little lost, the place is really big. Plus I'm really tired so I took a long time to walk and now, I'm gonna sleep. Goodnight Luka," "goodnight Marinette." Then we went back to sleep. Safe and sound.
