Just another day here in the Leaf Village, another day of wondering why I still bother waking up each day. I force myself out of bed, brush my teeth, hardly eat breakfast, shower, wash hands...

                                                                      Still washing hands.... I stare at the water slowly turning red as I realize that I'm having another episode from what happened 5 years ago and to add to that seeing my parents die in front of me. Lovely isn't it? Well, that's what I have to go through everyday... It's not easy hiding PTSD but somehow I can manage it.

I finally shut off the sink and wipe off the fog from the mirror I stare at myself, I haven't even dried myself yet... Yep, I'm gonna be late. Am I gonna make an excuse? Yes, yes I will. I still see the 'blood' on my hands as it 'smeared' all over the mirror painting my reflection red, I felt tears forming in my eyes, I started to shake, I felt the panic fill me, my heartbeat started to go nuts, my breathing became shaky but then suddenly I snapped out of my panic trance when I heard a familiar knock at my door.

   "HEY YURI, YOU ALIVE IN THERE?! YOU'RE LATE AGAIN.... ACTUALLY 2 HOURS LATE!"

My eyes widen as I look up at myself in the mirror "2 hours..?" 

"There's no way I was freaking out for that long..." I grab my Anbu uniform I didn't care if it was on backwards, I hoped the front door to be face to face with my nemesis...

                                     "Ash." I said plainly. 

"THAT IS ASHLEY YAMAMOTO THE NEXT BEST SENSEI THIS LEAF VILLAGE HAS EVER HAD!" Psh... Typical Guy wannabe. "Cut the Might Guy, crap please..." I roll my eyes and walk past her "Why don't you cut the 'I wanna be like Kakashi Hatake but more edgy' crap then, Yuri?" Oh... This bitch gonna die. I spin around almost doing a 360 and I put my Kunai right at her neck.

"WOAH! Hey! I was kidding!" Ash put her hands up defense. 

                                              ...

"I'm sorry." I put my Kunai back in my pocket and continued my walk to Anbu HQ

As me and Ash down the streets of Konohagakure I can't help but feel eyes on me, its making me very paranoid... Why are they looking at me? Why are they looking at me? WHY ARE THEY LOOKING AT ME?! "AH! We made it!" Ash said knocking me out of my thoughts. "The heck is going on... How are we already here?" I said very strained and rubbed the back of my head we walk up the steps and I see some of the older Anbu members and their soulless masks covering their judging faces.

I walk inside and head straight to the lounge area where every Anbu come to wind down after a mission, off duty or just taking a break. In my case, I got here and I'm taking a damn break.
