The royal family was at the reception. It was hand-kissing time. The royal guards were behind the royal family, paying attention to everything. Now was time for the royal family of Arrouthe to salute them. The Queen and King were first followed by their son Jae Beom. At that moment, Taehyung felt it. Wheein was nervous.

He raised his eyes, looking for the person who made Wheein feel like that. He saw him. "It has to be the prince of Arrouthe." He thought. His eyes never left the prince.

When he reached Wheein, Taehyung heard their conversation.

"Good evening, Wheein. It's been a while since the last time we saw each other." Jae Beom said to her.

"Yes, we have changed a lot, don't we?" Wheein replied. He smiled at her words.

"See you at dinner!" he said.

Wheein felt a bit relieved; it wasn't as hard as she thought. She continued greeting guests. Suddenly, in front of her, it was a girl wearing a dress that she recognized.

"Hwasa!" Exclaimed Wheein.

"Good evening, princess Wheein," said Hyejin, bowing. "I don't have time now. My seat at dinner is a bit far away from yours. We will see you at the party. Don't be afraid. I'm here."

"Yes, I have to sit with my family," said Wheein with sadness. "We'll have a great time later."

After the hand-kissing, everybody went to the room where the dinner will be served.

As Hyejin had said, she was at another table. She shared the table with a woman who was familiar to Wheein and two more couples.

Wheein was sitting next to Jae Beom. Royal families were together, but as tradition dictated, they should be mixed to promote better relationships between them.

The meal, as usual, was for vampires and humans. It seemed to be a human dinner, but vampire food had blood as an ingredient. Vampire's food was on red plates, while human meals were on blue plates.

After the Queen's order, everybody began to eat.

Jae Beom began to talk to her.

"How have you been, Wheein? I'm still sorry for everything. I was immature at that time and I couldn't fight for us." he said.

"I've been living in the human world for 7 years. I like living there because nobody knows me and because I need to run away to everything that reminds me of you," she confessed. "I was so nervous to meet you, but after seeing you, I can say that we are more mature. We are like old friends now."

"It was hard for me. I hated my parents for what they did. I centered my studies not to think of you." he said with a sad face. "I feel like trash for that. I want to say that I'm sorry for that."

"Almost 8 years have passed. Everything is in the past now. I was nervous because I didn't know how you would react. We can be friends if you like." Wheein said. The prince nodded his head.

"Could I ask you if princess Dan Bi is your girlfriend? She is watching us right now." Wheein asked him.

"She is my girlfriend. We felt the connection at my birthday party. She knows our story. I told her that I was to apologize to you. I imagine she is worried right now." Wheein turned her head toward her and with a smile she gave her a thumbs up. Dan Bi smiled with relief.

At that moment, Wheein's parents stood up, making everybody get up too.

"The king and I want to thank our guests for accompanying us tonight. We celebrate our wedding and coronation, but we have some good news to share with you. Our son, Prince Jin, will be getting married to Moonbyul next year. She is one of our royal guards. A strong and pretty woman that someday will be an amazing Queen." Everyone began to clap. Jin and Moonbyul were by their side, smiling at everyone.

"Did you know it?" Jae Boem asked her.

"I'm as surprised as you. Jin hadn't said anything to me at all," she said.

"It seems that they want to surprise everyone here." he laughed.

Wheein could only nod while she was looking around, searching for Taehyung.
