Gwen's pov:
"Derek! What the hell was that", I said rushing up to him with his back to my face. "You never told me Duncan Tarun was your ex", Derek spat. "Since when was MY past YOUR business", I argued. " I didn't think you'd be the type to mess around with scum like him. My business here is done", he said walking away. "Jerk!", I muttered under my breath.
Duncan's pov:
"Forget this", Courtney said pushing me away from her. "Clearly you don't want to be intimate", she said adjusting her dress. "What was your first clue? Y'know it's crazy how if this were the other way around I'd probably be on my way back to the slammer, but hey eQuAl RigHTS, " I said in a mocking tone. "You did NOT just say that! You are just so UGH", Courtney said annoyed.
I walked out the bathroom not caring if Courtney was behind me or not. I scanned the area for Gwen but she wasn't in sight. Strange. I walked back to the guys pissed. "Dude what was that all about", Geoff asked. "Maybe try not bringing people I'm not cool with around me ", I said annoyed. "How are you not cool with him you don't even know the guy", Geoff argued. "I dont know Geoffy maybe its cuz that's my ex's new piece ", I replied. "Sorry about that bro. I thought you were over her with you and Courtney being a thing again", Geoff said rubbing his head. "We're not together", I said annoyed at the thought of me and Courtney. "That's not what the media thinks. And yall walking in together hand in hand doesn't seem to help", DJ said. "Not like I have a choice", I said rolling my eyes. "What do ya mean you", Geoff asked with a confused expression. "Nevermind lets just try to make this a night to remember", I said attempting to change the subject. "Now we're talking", Geoff said ready to party.
