The other leader (mikey x reader)

We arrived at the toman meeting place seeing everyone was there. Especially the one I hated. Kisaki.

We stood up infront of everyone. Draken, mikey, and I. The power trio.

Draken: all of you, we will now call this meeting to order! Prepare for tomorrow's fight!

Mikey: thank you all for coming here tonight. As you know tomorrow we clash with Valhalla.  We have nothing to gain.

Me: they broght this fight to us for some reason. Baji has joined with the enemy for good. He's...he's now a traitor.

Mikey: we show no mercy to traitors. That's how toman handles things.

I hated saying that. Baji was still my friend. Wether he's in a different gang or not. He's always been my friend. He swore he'd still protect me. And he has. He did.

Mikey: but now. I'm gonna get childish.

Me: mikey?

Mikey: truth is. I can't fight against baji.

Mostly everyone was shocked. Some smiled, like mitsuya and draken, even I did. I wasn't shocked tho. Baji used to be our good friend. Well. He's still mine anyways. I didn't doubt mikey wouldn't fight him.

Mikey: thats where I stand on that. So that's what I need from you! Tomorrow we will crush Valhalla. We will bring baji back! That's how that battle will go down.

That made me happy. We could bring baji back. That sparked some joy and hope within me.

Everyone raised their fists and cheered 'toman'.

Mikey: sorry Kenny. Does that make me a failure or a leader?

Draken: you know that's not what that cheering means.

Me: mikey. You'll never be a bad leader. Remember that.

I kissed his lips and that's when I heard some whistling in the crowd. Mikey placed his hands on my hips but I backed out of the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck. I couldn't help my laugh at the whistling.

Mikey: see this guys. She MY women.

That made me laugh even more though. Protective and sweet. So loveable. Show me off mikey. I like it.

We went home later on and we laid in bed. Mikey started kissing my neck but I pushed his head away gently. He just pouted at me.

Me: we have a fight tomorrow.

Mikey: encourage me.

Me: mikey. We need rest. And not to be sore tomorrow.

Mikey: I won't be sore.

Me: I will be!

Mikey: Alright alright. I was just playing. Let's get some sleep bunny.

Me: bunny?

Mikey: perhaps a new nickname.

Me: hmm. Okay then.

He laid his head on my stomach and wrapped his arms around my waist. I ran my fingers through his hair playing with it. We both fell asleep shortly after.

We woke up around the same time as each other. Today was Halloween.  Normally I'd be excited to hand out candy and dress up for fun. But this wasn't a normal Halloween.  Today was a fight. I was usually excited for a fight. But this time I wasn't as excited. Only because I was fighting against my friend.

Mikey and I both had a quick shower than got changed into our toman outfits. I didn't wear the baggy pants. I wore a black soft cotton skort. I wasn't going to wear a full on skirt just in case. So I went with one that had shorts made into it. A skort. They were easy to move in. I wore a white crop top and my toman jacket as well. And mikey didn't even wear a shirt. I knew I'd have to focus my eyes off of him quite a bit.

It was the early afternoon and as soon as we finished eating then brushing our teeth, we were out the door riding on the motorcycle to the fight destination.

Me: mikey. Promise you won't die.

Mikey: I promise. Now you too. You can't die.

Me: I promise you. I won't let that happen.

We got there and stood all together behind a door. That's until they were finally opened once our gang name was called.

I looked around to see a bunch of people just here to watch. Two people stood out to me the most. Rindou and ran. The Haitani brothers.

We all stood there waiting for the battle to begin. Mikey and I held hands. He would squeeze mine here and there. I would squeeze back. It was a signal. A reassuring of its okay. Or im okay type thing. Once the fight would begin. Our hands would let go. And I wouldn't be able to check up on him as much. It would be the same way with him towards me.

Then Valhalla was announced. Their door opened and they all stood their on the opposite side. Mikey and I walked forward together.

Mikey was thanking the guy who was overseeing this fight. I didn't bother. I don't bother with many people.

I glanced infront of me and the others to see kazutora and draken face to face. They were going to decide how to see our this battle. The whole team or just five against five. I don't even think Mikey would let me fight in the second option. He would be too protective and get to worried to send me out. He was very caring. But I could handle myself. He knew that. But he would still do his best to keep me safe.

Draken: Valhalla brought this to us. So kazurora can decide. We have one condition for this fight tho. If we win. Baji returns.

Kazutora: baji came to us on his own. We have nothing to return.

Draken: we will be taking baji back with us. That's all I have to say.

Kazurora: than bring it on you jackass.

Kazurora than punched the guy who was overseeing this fight. We were all a little stunned.

Kazurora: really. Overseeing this battle? Conditions? Are we playing house or some shit.

Me: I'll kill that man.

Mikey: calm it down.

We only whispered. Nobody else could hear us. Nobody needed to.

Kazurora: we came to kick your ass and leave you all dead.

I made sure I ran forward before anyone else could stop me letting mikeys hand go. I went straight to punch kazuroras face. I didn't miss. He stumbled a little tho.

Kazurora: so much for friends huh?

Me: that's for shinichiro. And this...

I kicked his nuts as hard as I could making in fall to his knees.

Me: and that's for being an asshole!

Hanma: should we began then. Mikey

Mikey: let's get them!

That line pissed mikey off and I knew it.
