42 - BONUS

Another day had come along and I can at least say that I always had something to look forward to when I woke up. Wether that was mikeys cute sleeping face, mikey coming out from the shower, one of our kids in bed with us- or all of them- or if someone was yelling and causing chaos in the house. Cough cough, sanzu, cough cough.

But this morning, I woke up to.....nothing. Mikey wasn't in the room and I couldn't even here the kids. The dog wasn't even on our bed nor was he barking. The house was.....quiet. I was in complete shock.

Am I dead? Am I dreaming.

I even pinched myself to make sure I wasn't, this was reality.

I slipped out of bed and made my way to the twins room. Nothing. Then I went into the toddlers room. She wasn't there either.

Me: what the hell.....mikey!

I ran down the hallway and then down the stairs to see nobody in the living room. That made alarm bells go off in my head.

I went into the kitchen next and that when I felt relief wash over me and my heart beat slow down from being calm once again.

Mikey was cooking and letting the kids help him. It made me smile, but I wanted to smack him for not replying to me when I yelled for him.

Me: what are you guys doing?

Emma: we're making breakfast!

Draken: daddy woke us up so we could surprise you!

Naomi: mama!

The three year old little girl came walking over to me with her hands up in the air. I picked her up effortlessly and held her close. She was our newest addition to the family. After I announced my pregnancy with her at dinner, mikey got a vasectomy a month after to make sure we didn't have any more kids. I don't think I could push out any more anyways. I was done.

Emma and draken were now 7. Time really flew right by us in this world. I didn't like it what so ever. I didn't like the feeling that my kids were growing up. It scared me.

Mikey: we were going to surprise you with breakfast in bed, but I guess that plan didn't work out.

Me: that's alright, I'd rather eat with everyone.

I walked over to him and placed a kiss on his lips briefly.

Me: so, where is everyone?

Mikey: takeomi is handling business, kokonoi is in my office doing his money thing. Baji and kakucho took the dog out for his morning walk. And the trio.....I actually don't know where they are.

Me: you're telling me......the bonten trio is gone? Gone?!

Mikey: uhh yea.

Me: you're not worried? Especially with sanzu? He's a mad dog. Bontens number two. He's bat shit crazy.

Emma: shit!

Me: Emma!

Emma: whoops.

Draken: you can't say bad words dummy.

Mikey: be nice to your sister Draken. And no, I'm not worried. Why would I be?

Me: because the last time those three went out without a mission, sanzu killed a bunch of people including cops. Rindou only encourages him.

Mikey: we're already an illegal gang. So what?

Me: so what?! We can't keep having the cops on our ass. We have kids mikey, please take things more seriously. Don't be an idiot.
