Nightmare walked his now decorated and fixed halls, each with a beautiful lay of onyx wall paper and deep grass-green carpets. He loved the way everything wove into his dark aura and it give a skeptical eerie feeling that the castle was haunted - which it most possibly was.
Passive was cautiously walking through the years of work that Nightmare had took to single-handedly shift the almost falling apart castle into a stunning, yet creepy, masterpiece. Passive guessed it was the loneliness Nightmare was feeling which motivated him to take his time on the Castle, only more than a decade or five.
"This is perfect." Nightmare sighs, taking a walk along the hall and edging closer to the library that he took forever in making perfect.
Passive skips a couple of steps and stands next to Nightmare, drifting along with him, "I feel lonely. We need company, healthy company. Like Dream." Passive gives a calm smile and they slowly hum with a daydream of having a good friend.
"Not like Dream, we need someone who is... easily manipulated, listens, not as many emotions, possibly as violent as me." Nightmare sighs at the perfect idea of company, Passive sticks their tongue out and groans at Nightmares sadistic ideas.
"Can we get someone like Dream aswell?" Passive asks, "I know there's no one exactly like Dream because everyone is themself but can we get a Nice friend?" They sounded like they were begging for their imaginary friend.
"We are not getting friends." He cringes at the thought, "I'd like to thing of them as; workers, colleges, useful weapons, tools, Slaves?"
Passive twiddles their thumbs nervously then changes the subject, "what about Error, he contacted you a couple of hours ago." Passive recalls the memory with a giggle, "you told him to, 'go away' rather rudely and he scoffed at you then teleported off. You think you could get his information?" Nightmare stops and looks thoughtful.
"Oh..." Nightmare mumbles, "I did do that, didn't I?" Passive gives a short, quick nod.
Passive says, hope seeping through their words, "maybe we could find him?" Nightmare gives a small nod and switches paths.
"Let's do that now, I don't think reading is gonna help that. Also his negativity is off the charts - metaphorically - so it'll be easy to find him, in an au." Nightmare hums, crossing his arms in victory.
Passive mumbles, "isn't he in the anti-void though? We can't track him there, maybe we should just wait until something happens?" Nightmare glares at Passive almost looking like he was in disbelief.
"Wait 'til something happens? What do you mean, I am the reason for something happening. I am not waiting for something to happen like you, I am efficient enough to do it myself. Let's just go to the anti-void." Nightmare growls, his tentacles shifting with irritation. Passive shuffles away from Nightmare a couple of steps and nods in a forced agreement.
"Good." Nightmare scoffs, opening a portal and falling through. Passive follows quickly behind.
They fall into a white area, very similar to the few times Nightmare had visited, it was almost completely empty except for a deep-ocean blue beanbag, a tv, a small wooden crate and a ton of strings that dangled from everywhere.
Nightmare didn't find anything intriguing about the place and got bored visiting very quickly, yet Passive loved it as there was so much calm space to do anything even if it would be an insanity driver. Passive had noticed Error's messed up ways and his mind went to the loneliness of the Anti-void.
"Error?" Nightmare called, turning on his heels to see where he was, "I'm here to talk."
A small glitch fizzled besides Nightmare and Error appeared next to him, "ah, Nightmare." He sternly sighs, "not the time. I'm busy." He starts walking away.
"You came to see me, now what do you want to tell me about?" Nightmare asks, walking in pace with Error. Passive cautiously shuffles behind them.
Error gives a heavy sigh and nods, "there's this universe that was created." He glances at Nightmare's confused look, "yes I was gonna destroy it, but I read the name." A beanbag turns up in the blank horizon, "and I think it's perfect for you."
Nightmare nods in consideration, "so are you going to tell me the name?" Error gives a nod.
He walks up to the oversized beanbag and sits down, Nightmare stood just infront of Error, "well?" Nightmare says impatiently.
"Here." His hand glitched out and a thin almost glitchy paper appeared upon it. He swipes it a couple of times and then clicks something before handing it to Nightmare, "the name, the universe isn't finished yet but I'm sure you can wait a couple years more."
Nightmare gives a calm nod then looks at the au's name, "Killertale, huh?" He gave a smirk and nods to Error, "thanks, I'll see you around." He reaches to pass the glitchy tablet back to Error but he shifts his hand in a denying it.
"Keep it." He mumbles, crossing his arms, "now Shoo. Go away." Error gives a small glitchy grin.
Nightmare teleports out and looks at the universe in fascination, Passive stood next to him and looks at it, "it seems they're gonna be yours?" Nightmare slowly nods, reading the lines that shone on the tablet over and over.
Name: Killertale
Unfinished
Genocide runPassive nudges Nightmare a little, Nightmare didn't feel it but Passive did, "why not we go read, I'd like to read that series again." Passive looks pleadingly at Nightmare.
"Fine." Nightmare murmurs, eyes glued to the tablet while walking. Passive slowly glides next to him, looking at the tablet cautiously almost as if it would jump out and attack him.

They walk up to a big room in the shape of a hexagon, it's walls were lined with bookshelves that reached the high ceiling and those shelves was filled with Books of massive variety. Passive's figure glows with envy of all the stories to be opened just through those books.
"Can I touch them?" Passive asks, walking over to them with hesitant hands. Nightmare rolls his eyes and nod.
"They're yours, it was from the Dreamtale library. I may get some from different universes but they're yours." Nightmare walks over to the pillar that stood upon the middle of the room, different empty bookshelves aligned in a '+' sign, the pillar being in the middle, "now, should we have a section for learning. You are only six, we should teach ourselves some things."
"Like history?" Passive looks up with a childish jump, they let out a small squeak of anticipation, "I wanna know their backstories, it sounds so fun!" Passive stops dead in their childish excitement, "s-sorry."
Nightmare nods, "let's see what we know." Passive nods and sits down with the pile of books they had picked up.
Nightmare rolls his eyes, "this will take a while."

Author note,
This is not canon (to be honest I don't know what is Canon anymore ^^') but I'm enjoying this, I don't know if I've already written that but I hope I am, I hope someone else is. Someone who doesn't know me in real life.
Please stay safe, I hope your life doesn't spiral into confusion of ridiculous mood-swings like mine!
