Mellie had gone out shopping after her son had left for his second day of school. She needed to buy him some new school shirts and a pair of wellies as it's getting quite rainy. She picked out just some Primark clothes for him. She looked around the rest of Meadowhall because she just wanted to pass time. She ended up buying her son a new lego set and a dinosour squishmallow. She left the meadowhall and went to go home. When Mellie arrived, it was 2:50pm, ten minutes before Joe was expected to be home. So she made him his sandwich and water as usual then sat down and watched TV until the clocked striked three. It now was 3:10. 'The bus is probably late." She thought. But 3:10 turned to 3:20, then 3:20 turned into 3:30. She finnaly got worried and phoned the school. Ring ring...ring ring... no answer. She had been trying to get hold of the school for an hour now. It was now 4:30pm and she'd had enough. She hopped into the car then drove down to the school. Silence surrounded the air. What was going on? Normally you'd here teachers leaving at around this time. She went up to the school entrance and knocked on the door. Surely someone would be in there to answer...right?
