Morning Blues

Leorios POV

The sound of the shower running peacefully woke me up. When this noise faded I heard a heart wrenching sob. Must be my roomie, pika. I felt it was my responsibility to protect him.

Just thinking about tears soaking his porcelain face make my heart beat like coals under a fireplace. I approached the bathroom door listening in, just to confirm I was hearing correctly. Then knocked twice.

"Hello ***sniffles"- Kurapika

"Are you okay"- Leorio

"Y-yea of course" -Kurapika

"Don't fucking lie" -Leorio

His sad tone broke me. I felt bad for language but I was so angry at the fact he was so sad. Despite my attempts, The cold doorknob would not budge. The door flung open from the inside.

Kurapika stood before me, damp golden hair. Tear stained checks. Pink blush. He looked at me and smiled. So fake it stung. Without thinking I leaned and pulled him to my chest.

Kurapikas POV

My face was so close to his marvellous chest as he hugged me. I felt so warm. This feeling of comfort died as I remembered our strict status of friendships. I mean Leorio is straight, I assume.

"This is wrong Leo"- Kurapika

"What?"- Leorio

I pushed past him and walked to the kitchen. I usually drank tea but I needed something stronger today. I took a satchel of coffee and placed it in the coffee machine, I then filled the milk foamer with skim milk.

I pushed the large cup button. As the coffee machine did it's thing I zoned out. A day dream pictured of exactly what I had imagined last night. Body against body. Love marks.

"Kurapika your coffees done"- Leorio

The sound startled me. I was embarrassed. I got my cup slightly stinging my hands but I didn't mind. I then sat awkwardly sat with my fresh coffee, journal and a pen.

I wrote about my dreams in detail. Then slammed the book shut and sighed. What's done is done. I can't Erase the dream but I can ignore it, that's if Its possible...
