The next day, both Nora and Changbin arrived at the daycare.

"Aren't you excited?" Nora asked her brother as she unlocked the front door.

"About what?"

"Felix is starting his training today."

She opened the door and they both walked in.

"Why would I be excited about something like that?" He asked.

"Oh, stop acting dumb. I saw the way your eyes lit up when you saw hi-"

"-You're just seeing shit." Changbin told her with an unbothered expression, "I'm going to let the boarding dogs outside."

"Don't forget to give Molly her meds!" She yelled after him.

Later In The Day:

Nora heard the bell chime on the front door, but she was in the groom room giving one of the dogs a bath.

"Binnie!! We have a customer!!!"

"I got it!" Changbin yelled back to her as he made his way to the front.

Once there, he saw Felix standing there with Zoe.

"Oh, it's just you." He said.

Felix turned to him and smiled brightly, causing Changbin to get a bit shy. "What are you smiling for? Come on, you'll be with me." He said as he turned around.

Felix couldn't help but admire how cool Changbin was. He was only a few inches shorter than him but made up for it with his muscular build. You could even make out his toned abs underneath his white shirt, and his messy black hair gave him an intimidating look that Felix wish he had.

Changbin turned around to look at him. "What are you just standing there for? Let's go."

Instantly, Felix began to follow him to the back where he was given a tour of the place, which was bigger than he thought. Changbin showed him the cat room, the groom room, the kettles where they kept the boarding dogs, and the room where they kept all of the cleaning supplies.

"Nora works inside with the cats, and she stays at the front desk to deal with the customers. You'll be with me in the yards with the boarding and daycare dogs. The yard has a fence in the middle, which separates the big and small dogs. I'll be on the side with the big dogs, and you'll be with the small dogs-"

"-Wait, why can't I be with the big dogs?" Felix asked.

Changbin slowly began looking him up and down, making Felix feel a bit shy for some reason, causing him to look away.

"Because, there are a lot of fights with the big dogs." Said Changbin. "And judging by how skinny you are, they'd eat you alive."

Changbin laughed as Felix's face turned red with embarrassment.

"I-I am not skinny!" He told him.

Changbin put a hand on his head and ruffled his hair. "Whatever you say, pretty boy."

Changbin's 'pretty boy' comment made Felix's stomach do flips. It was a weird feeling, but he didn't hate it. It just left him feeling very confused.

He followed Changbin out to the yards, and for the rest of the day, it was pretty normal. Changbin taught Felix everything he needed to know and he helped him learn most of the dog's names. And once the workday was over, the sun was setting and Felix's driver was waiting for him outside.

"Felix, you did great today! How do you like it here?" Nora asked him as Changbin was clocking out for the day.

"I like it a lot. And I'm sure that Zoe enjoyed it too." He said as Zoe ran around the floor in circles.
