(Obviously, this story takes place in Hunter x Hunter and during the Chimera Ant Arc.)

The two were still in the tall grass, waiting for Flutter and his platoons to lead the Hunters to them, in hopes of ambushing them. However...
"Retreat! Retreat!" They hear Flutter yell telepathically, causing them to be confused.
"What's wrong, Flutter?" Hagya asks.
Before he can get a response, he and Hirin begin to feel a rumbling. They then see a huge ball of smoke engulf an area of the forest in front of them.
"What is that?" He asks in disbelief.
Pretty soon, soldiers that were apart of the platoons begin to fly uncontrollably out of the smoke, and fall right near Hagya and Hirin, dead. This shocks Hagya, and scares Hirin. They then see a figure coming from the smoke that was in front of them.
It was Kite. Not long after, Gon and Killua appear alongside him.

Kite then looks in the distance to see Hagya, who looks uneasy by his presence. Kite just continues staring at him with a stoic expression.
"He's so handsome!" Hirin squeals.
"We're heading back right now." Hagya states, knowing the odds aren't in their favor. He then turns and begins to walk away.
"Huh? But the feast..." Hirin complains.
Hagya says nothing, and continues walking. He is soon joined by Hirin and Flutter, who was able to escape from Kite's attack.
-With Kite and the boys
"He must have understood that he was completely outclassed, and back down calmly and immediately." Kite says. "So he's more than likely a squadron leader."
-With Hagya, Flutter, and Hirin
As they retreat, Hagya remembers the part of him that was just a lion, before becoming a Chimera Ant. "My fangs and my claws...I used to think they were the center of the universe. All I had to do was brandish them, and in the blink of an eye, I could end a creature's life, and satisfy my hunger. There was no greater bliss than that."
Hagya and his officers find themselves on a cliff side, looking down at the Hunters they tried to kill, who look to them in return. "However, that wasn't the case. There was always someone greater, and I didn't stand at the top of the food chain. I learned this at the cost of my life, but it made me even stronger."
He then says... "As we are now, we have no chance of defeating them." Hagya and his gang then turn and walk away. "But we've gained a new weapon, the ability to learn." They then vanish from sight.

After watching them leave, Kite speaks up. "We're going to follow them. Their nest must be close to here." "So wherever they're going, the Queen is bound to be there." . . . Meanwhile At the Chimera Ant Nest
