Chapter V: Coming Home.

I blinked reality hit me like a brick. We were on prison, we slept the night at a prison and we were fighting inside a prison.

Prison, I paused.

" This is what happened. " He said, playing the repeat button. The video played, it was us, running for our lives then passing out.

Again and again it played.

" We get it Boss Wuh, " Bomi grunted.

Stace whistled, making a remark about our stunt that earned her a hard smack and a death glare. This is absolutely her doing.

" Can you bail us out now? " I asked.

He nod his head and I sighed relieved until he said he have conditions, I frown and let him continue whereas I have no right to argue.

" You three will have to come back home. "

I messily threw my things at the back of Stace's sports car which she calls Diablo, which if you translate in English means...

" I refuse to come back home! " I bellowed leaning over the car's trunk amd scowling at the girls who agreed at the condition.

" Eun Min, listen-- " Stace started.

I shook my head. " No, leave it. "

I feel irrational, I feel like I don't have a say on the situation. Fuck, we don't even know why we were in prison at the first place.

They knew by heart that I hated our Home, and that I would go through anything even sail to the other end of the world to just not return in that hell.

" Listen, we know we have the money to bail ourselves out, but then I and Stace decided that it's time, we have to come back. "

I gritted. " I have a life here, I have Lee. "

I can't just go back to SSIA and let everything I have here go. In SSIA, my life would always be at stake. I don't need that now.

" You're life is at SSIA, you signed the contract years ago and turning back now, will not only bring your death but Lee's too. "

" We're going Eun Min, like it or not. You'll come with us and you'll take your rightful place at SSIA. Lee would be protected "

The ride back to mansion was filled with an Ice cold silence, mainly because I ignore their attempts to talk to me into their plan.

Lee would be protected. Would she really? She would be able to follow her dreams, she would be able to grow. And all I have to do is just go back to SSIA living everyday knowing I might die any minute.

I dialed the phone number I've struggled to memorise all this years

" Eun Min? " I smiled when I was greeted by the small voice I've missed for so long from the other line. " You finally called again, "

" Hey, how are you doing there? "

" Fine, but it's different without you here. You haven't called for months, " Right at the moment, I was shaking and almost in tears. All I wanted was to be there to hug her, comfort her. " Why didn't you call me? "

I bit nervously. " I-I was busy. "

" Oh, I understand. " she whispered bitterly. She was silent for a few minutes that I thought she already slept but then she finally said it, the words I've always feared of. " Are you coming back here? "

" I'm sorry, Lee. "

" Don't be I'm used to it, " she laughed.

" Lee, Don't-- " I warned.

She sniffed. " You promised me you woudn't come back to that place, ever again. "

I clenched my hands. " I'm an Agent! "

" You're my Mother! "

I froze and I bit my lip hard.

" You could die out there, " she hissed, my eyes burned holding back the hot tears I refuse to spill to anyone or to anything.

And you might die if I back down.

" And who would I turn up to, huh? "

" Who would accept me when I'm a frickin' blind 11 year old with the most arrogant Mother in the whole world who woudn't care about me? " she cried and half yelled.

I shook my head. " I'm doing this for you. "

" You're doing this for yourself, " then the line ended. My lips bleed at the how hard I bit them and my phone felt like it was gonna break from my grasp.

Dammit, why does it have to be so hard?

The girls and I left the mansion at dawn, like what Bomi had planned, so that we could get to SSIA HeadQuarters without traffic, the earlier we get there the better.

Now we are at an SUV SSIA sent for us.

" You look like Zombie Min. " Stace voiced stealing a glance at me while I frown at her, she gives me an apologetic look and J know she knows that I don't want to go through this.

Bomi also gave me the same look.

And I knew right then that they really didn't want me to continue in this but they were forced. I gritted my teeth. Dammit, this is Mr.Wuh's idea.

I shrugged. " Too much drama. "

" You called her yesterday? "

I sighed. " She just woudn't understand. "

I don't blame her, she's way too young, only thirteen and she had to go through this crap when childrens normally shoudn't.

I hope she gets the picture that I'm doing this because I have to, for her sake and mine.

" Stop doubting yourself Min, " Hanna, an trainee at SSIA, said giving me a reassuring smile. " You're Eun Min for pete's sake. "

I nod my head. Hanna's confidence on me is too much, same goes to SSIA. Since I was the TOP AGENT they think that I can do everything.

Like stop doubting myself.

Sometimes it's tiring to have people look up to you, it's like they expect too much from you but then in the end you'll disappoint them.
