She lifted the picture between her index and thumb, rising it to the light. She narrowed her eyes on the mysterious yet familiar glow, as if she was trying to remember it.
The girl in the picture stood infront of a brick wall, she was wearing a violet lilac dress and wore an infamous grin.
" Why is she happy? " Eun Min asked.
She held the picture up towards the sky, the sun made the picture more bright. The flowers around the girl now looking almost glowing. Eun Min shook her head, having an obvious distaste at the picture.
" You don't like it? " A girl asked.
She shook her head and laughed, letting go of the picture as it caught fire.
The picture fell at the grass lifeless beside before the wind blew it and it joined the pile of childhood pictures.
She watched smugly as the pictures also caught fire and the wind makes the flame grow stronger, dark smoke now coming out.
" They were beautiful. " she admitted, she glanced at the cold body next to her who is busy watching the flames dance.
" But I don't need them anymore. " Eun Min added bluntly, she smirked at the person beside her and slung her arms around her.
The person shook her head.
" Don't be silly, of course you need them. " she said to Eun Min who gave her a bewildered look. She gave her a sweet smile. " They are your family afterall. "
" I lost my family. " Eun Min said.
Mai smiled. " You have me now. "
Eun Min shook her head and laughed loudly, she fell of the log she sat on and stumbled over the grass. Mai smiles weakly watching Eun Min laugh at her joke.
" That's a good one Mai. " Min remarked.
Mai nod shyly. " Yea, I think so too. "
