Perrie's POV:

I groan when my alarm goes off. I'm really not a morning person and lately, I always need to wake up early to get to the studio. The last songs for our next album still need to get their final touches, so we still have our work cut out for us to get everything done before the release in three months.

This album is probably the one I am the most excited about. I finally feel like we are not scared to say anything anymore. We are Little Mix, four strong women who are not afraid to speak their minds. And it shows in our album.

When I arrive, the only person there is Jade. "Hey, Jadey." The brunette looks up from her phone and steps closer to hug me. "Hi, Pez."

"Where are Jes and Leigh?" I ask after we both pull away from the hug.

"Don't know. But they both had date nights with their men yesterday." She says, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

"Oh hell no, I did not wake up early so they can do some naughty-naughty with their boyfriends." Jade laughs at that, but her smile doesn't quite reach her eyes.

"You okay?" I ask immediately. Jade and I have always been like this. Whenever we notice the slightest change of behaviour in each other, we ask. We don't hide things from each other because we know we're always stronger together. Out of the three girls, Jade probably knows the most about me.

It's not that I trust her more than Jes or Leigh, we just have a special connection. Since the X factor, Jade and I had this instant click that never went away. At the beginning of Little Mix, we were always together and we were the closest friends ever. We even shared a flat for a while. I guess that's how all the Jerrie rumours started. We both didn't mind though, we were secure enough in our friendship to play along without it being weird.

We are still very close now, but we drifted apart a little over the last year. Jade hangs out with Leigh more often, and I hang out with Jes. However, our connection with each other is still different. If something is wrong with me, Jade would be the first person I call.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that I miss Jed and you guys see your boyfriends on such a regular basis." The brown-eyed girl answers sadly. "It just sucks."

When I see tears starting to fill the brunette's eyes, I instantly engulf her in a tight hug. I knew that the distance between Jade and Jed was tough on her, but I didn't realize that us seeing our boyfriends made it worse. Maybe I should take that into account more when I talk about Alex. I know that she's happy for me, but I can see how it would be hard for her.

The sound of Jade's phone ringing brings me back to reality and the brunette quickly let's go and smiles down at her phone. "It's him!"

She walks out of the room with her phone against her ear. "Hey, baby!" I can hear her squeal before the door closes. I chuckle at how excited the girl sounds. Isn't Jade the cutest, most adorable person on the planet?

Seconds later, Jes and Leigh walk into the studio while talking animatedly. "Morning Pez!" They say in unison.

"Hey girls, how were your dates?" They both start telling me about their nights and once they are done, Jade is just returning to the room.

Jade has the biggest smile on her face and it instantly lifts all our spirits. When we see each other happy, all four of us are immediately in a good mood.

"Morning, Jadey. What makes you so happy today?" Leigh asks.

"Jed is coming to visit next week!" She squeals and starts jumping up and down excitedly. Jes and I just chuckle at her childish antics, but Leigh starts jumping up and down with her.
