Jade's POV:

Standing in the shower my mind starts racing again, making me doubt everything again. What is it with showers and overthinking?

In order to stop my destructive train of thought, I jump out of the shower and wrap a fluffy towel around my body. Pez was still sleeping when I got up and went into the shower.

We had been spending a lot of time together to make our relationship stronger and restore our faith in each other. However, all we really did was watch movies, sleep and have sex.

Before I walk out of the bathroom, I glance in the mirror at the purple bruises on my neck. Pez certainly didn't hold back last night.

Once I open the door to the bedroom, Perrie starts stirring. "Get back in bed, Jadey."

Her voice is still hoarse from sleeping and the raspy tone is so hot to me. "I'm naked, so no."

The blonde grumbles and lazily opens one eye to look at me in annoyance. "I'm just asking you to get back in this bed with me, not to have sex."

I give her a pointed look to show I don't believe her at all. The second I get in that bed, she'll be all over me.

"I swear, I'll keep my hands to myself. Just get back in here." She pouts adorably while pulling the covers back for me.

I can't say no to her when her bright, blue eyes are looking at me so pleadingly. The power she has over me is insane. It honestly scares me sometimes.

Right before I jump under the covers, I dump my towel. Pez has a satisfied smile on her face and cuddles up to me a little.

"I thought you said no touching?" I ask playfully.

"Just shut up and cuddle with me." The still sleepy blonde murmurs and pulls me closer to her with her hands around my waist. Her head rests on my chest and my hand instinctively starts brushing her hair.

After a few minutes, Perrie's breathing evens out and I feel her steady heartbeat against my stomach.

"I have an idea." I jump slightly at the sound of her voice.

"God, I thought you were asleep." The blonde chuckles lightly, making her breath hit my collarbone, causing a shiver to run down my spine.

"Now about my idea. We decided that we wanted to learn how to trust each other again and I really want our relationship to be a strong one."

I hum in agreement with her words, wondering about her idea. "So, we can spend this whole day talking to each other about everything that's on our minds. It doesn't matter if it concerns us or not. We just need to really talk."

My heart starts beating a little faster at her words. As much as I want us to trust each other, I'm also scared as hell of her reaction to all my issues.

"I know it's scary." She says just as if she can read my mind. "But I really feel like it would make us stronger as a couple. Also, I even knew more about what was going on with you before we were together."

She's right about that. We only ever talk about ourselves as a couple and even that's quite rare. Communication on point, Jerrie. "Okay, let's do it."

"Perfect, let's just hug for a little longer." The blonde snuggles further into me and I know if I let her, she'll be asleep in minutes.

"We should turn our phones off today, so we're really only focused on each other," I suggest quickly to change the subject and try to make her forget about sleep for two minutes.

"You're right." The blonde answers and turns away from me to her nightstand to grab her phone. I do the same and once I have shut off my phone, I turn back to Perrie to see her aiming her camera at me.
