Greetings, my wonderful readers, it is I, Naintarlow.

I know what you are thinking. A new chapter after barely more than a month? Can it be that I will return to my earlier upload speed? Probably not, sorry. I recently had to admit that I write too many stories yet not willing to let any of them go. And while I try to write as much as I can, work and life keeps most of my time limited. I will try my best, so please hang in there my loyal readers.

As for this chapter, I don't think much needs to be said. Finally the end of the laughing coffin raid, the final conclusion of this arc. For now. We will be back to the repercussions of this event. Next chapter will be the aftermath, both inside the game and outside, with various forces starting to move.

In other, barely connected but still relevant news. With the guys at the SAO Fanfiction Central Discord server ( di scord.g g/n 9XP GRNh without spaces if you want to join) we are doing a special event. A week of us celebrating the server's favorite pairing, the duo that shakes the world at its foundation, Kirito and Argo. Some boring people may call it KiriArgo but not us. Here, at our Discord server we (most of us) are advent supporters of the true ship name KArgo.

During this event over 10 different SAO authors, myself included, will write 7 short stories, each based on one prompt chosen for each day. It will be a lot of fun, a lot of fluff and more importantly Argo. If you guys are interested, then look out because on the 31st of October, until the 6th of November, the first (soon to be annual) Kargo-week will start.

As usual, I am forever thankful of all of you who took the time to fav, follow and most importantly review this story. With that one last part done, I will shut up and let you guys enjoy the story.

The silver edge of the majestic blade met the white staff of the spear in a violent show of sparks, before pushing each other back, their wielders readying themselves for the next attack.

Two realities clashed together, each one as real as they can be, yet false at the same time. On one side, Natsu, the young leader of the Keepers of the Seven Rings faced off against a skeleton wielding a spear with a skill on the level of his friend and mentor. On the other side, Buzz, the somewhat grumpy beta tester and unofficial sub-leader of the same guild snarled impatiently as the skeleton he was fighting, sharing a rather familiarity to his young charge skillfully deflected his latest attack, with almost unheard skill.

Both of them found their opponents largely different from any other computer-generated and controlled monster they ever faced before. Aside from using fighting styles very familiar to them, the skeletons behaved irregularly, using feints, stopping attacks midway. It was way too intelligent, way too adaptive to be some simple monster. If they didn't know better, both warriors would say they were fighting a human behind instead of a simple skeleton monster.

The truth was truly cruel, because unknown to either of them, Buzz and Natsu, in fact, were fighting against each other, both believing their opponent to be only a mob, sending attacks with the intent to kill. They found themselves in a stalemate at the moment but human concentration was limited. One of them would slip, make a mistake and the other wouldn't hesitate to use the offered opening, only to realize the truth too late.

Of course, the only one aware of this deception and the eventual conclusion of the duel was the person shrouded in darkness. Sitting alone on top of a throne in a secluded balcony above, watching the two veteran players shed virtual blood just for his amusement.

He long ago discarded the appearance of the blue-haired swordsman. While useful, he had enough of masquerading as the fool, now that the part where he could freely torture the young Vongola with the betrayal of one he trusted. It didn't help his distaste that the pawn, while somewhat competent as a source of information ever since he encountered and used him before the first boss battle, was annoying and just a bit incompetent.
