Chapter 2||Stuck in my head

I went home quickly and dashed into my bedroom.

Sigghhh..

That was weird.. What does he mean by
"That's even better" why is his words driving me crazy.. what's with me?! Aughhhh..

Atleast an hour or so has passed and woke up.. The man was on top of me.

"Had a nice sleep my Illumi?"

His soft skin touching mine. His gentle like voice made me blush harder. W-WHAT IS THIS FEELING?!

Then I woke up again.

O-oh.. A dream, Right.. something doesn't feel quite right..

I half-lied and saw my pants wet. Even the sheets are wet.

Shit shit shit shit..

I was panicked and changed into another outfit and was about to take the sheets off and replace them.

*Knock knock*

I heard someone knock and even panicked more.

D-damn it! Why now!

I heard my door creak.

"Illu-"

I was quickly taking off my sheets.

"What are you doing..?"

I flinched and almost dropped the sheets.

"Oh. I just thought I've been using the sheets for a while now."

I quickly came with a lie.

"Oh? Isn't your bedsheets ne-"

"What brings you here Kil?"

"Mother told me to call you to go downstairs for dinner."

"I'll be coming."

He closes the door and went downstairs.

Phew that was a close call..

I quickly replaced my bedsheets and went downstairs as if nothing happened.

Everyone was eating together..

I sat down and started to eat.

"Soo, How did the fight go earlier?"

I could feel my father staring and my mother waiting for an answer.

"It was easier than I had expected, however.. I spared the guy"

"Yeah sorry about that."

"That's okay.."

Then it went silent again. It was a very awkward atmosphere... what's up with them anyways? I just finished my food and went back downstairs. I quietly read some mangas I stole. And again I heard my door opening. Oh for fuck's sake when would I ever get some peace.

"Illumi, about your mission"

I stood up and faced my mother.

"You'll be needing a partner, Make sure to bring someone with you. It will be a big mission"

"Why mom? Can't my brother just be my partner? Is it that hard?"

"Well no but this will happen in a fancy hotel where only invited guests will come, i heard it's a mafia's meeting and have fun night, there would be a dance that's why everyone without partners or who is not invited will not be stepping in"

"Ohh.."

"When will it happen?"

"About a month from now"

My eyes widens.

"A MONTH?!"

"Yeah"

"MOM YOU KNOW I DONT MAKE FRIENDS RIGHT?! AND YOU'D BE EXPECTING ME TO COMPLETE THIS IN A MONTH?!"

"I couldn't hire anyone and you're my son. You are trained to be an assassin anyways, I'm pretty sure you'll beat them"

I just let out a deep sigh out of stress.

From that day I kept thinking who willl be my partner.. noone's probably strong enough to kill about 39 mafias with me. Bro.. 39! If there are lots of them in the room and I'm alone and didn't came up with a plan, I'll end up dead. Especially some mafias there are "special" some could have nen abilities.

Just.. for now that's not my main problem.. the thing is where could I get a partner..?
