"Young Midoriya!" The Symbol of Peace's voice boomed out through the room. "Welcome! To your hero academia." He outstretched large, flickering hand. With his message delivered, the light based form of the Number 1 Hero withered and died. All Might had left two things: the room and the dual minded figure sat in their chair without words.
"Izuku?" A soft voice said from behind the entrance to the room, followed by the shallow creak of the door opening. The target of the questioning call remained silent, simply turning in their chair to face source of the noise.
"We got in." The boy said exasperatedly. His head felt heavy and the world was a carousel. He had just been told that he made it into UA. The flower bud of his boyhood dream had actually begun to bloom. Though he had succeeded through a secret and non-disclosed rule, he had done it nonetheless. He had gained 60 points from saving her girl from the Zero Pointer. When combined with his written test score, Izuku had managed to gain just enough to pass the overall exam and earn his spot in the most prestigious hero course this side of the planet.
While his mother's initial worry was towards the use of the word 'we', it quickly shifted to pure delight as she rushed and hugged her son.
The Midoriyas received multiple noise complaints from their neighbours for excessive loud crying that night. As well as maintenance bills for leaks reported by the people who live below them, caused by excessive heavy crying.

The next morning wasn't as positive as the previous night. Why? Well...
'Why the heck did you not wake me up!' Midoriya interrogated his morally lesser half as he bolted out of his front door, grey school blazer hanging haphazardly off of his back.
'Whadda'ya take me for? A human alarm clock?' The disembodied voice replied snarkily.
Izuku found himself in a similar situation to a couple weeks ago, rushing through city streets pushing past people as he ran, worried he wouldn't make it to the most important day of his life in time. He even recognised a couple of the faces as he zoomed past them. The boy felt like he could vomit for hours as the pearly gates of hero heaven approached.
The main doors of UA burst open, the halls were empty, all the students were already in their classrooms. The sound of a boy's running shoes squeaking on the floor echoed through the halls, eventually squeaking to a halt infront of a large door almost double the juniper haired boy's height.
'This is it Atsikkan.'
'The Backstreet Boys are back?' He responds sounding suddenly excited.
'What?! No! They already came back once. And they're all dead! It's time for the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. It's time for us to start on our path to become a hero.'
'Oh. Noice.' Atsikkan grumbled with a sense of distance in his voice.
The greenette internally sighed as his thoughts traveled somewhere else. 'I wonder what quirks everyone will have! With the size of the door maybe someone has a giant mutation!'
'Their poor mother.'
After a couple more seconds of standing
Izuku braced himself. The boy took one long breath in. Images and fantasies of what his future held rushed through his mind. Pushing the door open he kept his eyes to the floor. The door hit the hinges and he looked up.
