The quirk apprehension test went about well as Izuku had expected. He hadn't been able to perform too well in the ball throw, scoring only around sixty-eight metres. The only test where his quirk really came in handy was with the grip strength, wrapping his hand in sludge and tightening it around the apparatus. Although, his score fell short in a landslide when compared to a tall boy with what appeared to be six arms.
By the time the test had finished, everyone was just about ready to collapse under the pressure caused by not seeing their scores. Eventually, after an awkwardly long dramatic pause, Aizawa pulled up the electronically displayed ranking system. Midoriya had found himself taking the 13th spot.
'That isn't too bad.'
'Guess not. Ain't first though.'
The naturally curious teen looked at the rest of the names to survey the other rankings on the system.

#20 Toru HagakureUpon reading the final name, the boy looked over to find the girl he now knew was named Toru Hagakure to be stood shaking. He couldn't actually see the girl, on account of her skin being fully translucent, but her clothes ruffling and the faint whimpering she was emitting was a give away. He both was and wasn't surprised.
'I guess invisibility doesn't really help with any physical tests.' The boy began analysing to himself out of habit.
"Toru Hagakure, report to the principal's office immediately. You have came last and by promise are expelled. Effective immediately." Aizawa's stone cold tone remarked before flicking off the holographic projection and walking away. "As for the rest of you, your first day at UA High has finished. Feel free to go home."
The class stood in shock, only fully grasping the situation when Hagakure began to walk slowly towards the building, audible sniffles coming from her direction.
'Poor girl. Not sure how she got in here in the first place, but still sucks to be her right about now.'
'Hey! That's mean! If I didn't have your power I probably would be where she is right now.'
'True, but you do have me. So you're not.'
After the girl had disappeared back into the school an awkward silence fell over the now 19 person class. This silence was broken however as a gruff voice scoffed. "No point standing here and feeling bad 'bout some girl we never even knew." Katsuki stated remorselessly as he began to walk back towards the changing rooms, soon being followed by his shellshocked peers.
Izuku walked home feeling a weird mixture of both intense giddy excitement and sheer anxiety. He had made into the school of his dreams, which was a good thing. But, he had seen another person's own dreams get crushed like a paper cup before his very eyes, all because her quirk couldn't help her in a physical test. Something about that didn't sit right with the teen.
'You've gotta understand somethin', Twerp. This society is survival of the fittest. The strongest thrive. That girl... was far from the strongest.'
