Sophie's POV -
Wow.
Taking down the Neverseen storage was soooo tiring. I need to sleep.
Sophie light leaped to Havenfield and into her house when Sophie saw Grady looking a little... worried?
"Hey Dad!" Sophie said with a tired smile.
"Hello Sophie," Grady replied, "I am guessing you are tired?"
Grady pointed at the black bags under Sophie's eyes.
"Yes! And I am going to go up to my bedroom and sleep. Good night."
"Wait!"
Sophie turned around at Grady with a confused look on her face.
"Prepare yourself..." Grady said with emotion.
Sophie just nodded her head slowly and went into her bedroom.
The first thing Sophie noticed was Iggy's fur color. It was amazing.
Huh. Looks like Dex did a little something for me while I was gone...
Then Sophie noticed the note on Iggy's cage.
(Time Skip after Sophie reads the letter)
WHAT?!?
Sophie's mind races as her mind processes the information.
She turned her head, left and right, as if waiting for Keefe to jump scare her and tell her that it was all a huge joke.
Nothing happened.
Sophie's eyes flooded with tears as she read the letter one more time.
Wait... Why did Dad said...
"Dad!" Sophie yelled as she rushed down the stairs, miraculously not tripping.
"I'm so sorry kiddo," Grady said.
Sophie was speechless.
It seemed liked that today was her worst day in life.
No. It is her worst day in life.
So Sophie did what she wanted to do.
She ran into her bedroom, slammed the door, and cried to sleep.
