"This was a year before this happened I think. I took my phone with me to the school one day. There were events going on I think and the participants were allowed to bring theirs. Me, a friend of mine and a hostler were watching a video of yours because they wanted to see it. I didn't mind and gave them my phone and told them the password. I shouldn't have done that but that turned out to be the best 'accident' of my life. We saw some of your videos then I turned it off and kept it in my bag and left for lunch." I sighed.
"I didn't check my phone till the end of the day. When me and my friend checked my bag, it was gone. We ran to the security room to see the cctv footage but they told us to ask for permission from the principal. I told the peon that we want to meet her and it's urgent. We went in and she scolded me for bringing my phone because it wasn't allowed. She told us that we cannot see the footage as the camera didn't record today because of some problem in the system. So we sighed in defeat and went towards our cab. I told the driver what happened and he scolded me for being late and doing this. The next day I found out that the hostler took my phone. And with the help of other hostlers I got it back and the phone was reset, everything was changed including my music library." I looked in the TV screen in front of me and saw some of them wiping their tears, adjusting their positions but everyone was looking at me. I took a deep breath.
"I was inspired by you all, got motivated, wanted to live more, wanted to live a good life and wanted to Love myself, whom I started to hate the most. You all helped me without even realizing it. I can't thank you all enough for everything you did. Even you B/F/N. You made me laugh, you cared for me everyday, you even came here to live with me, leaving your parents and your country... our country. I love you so much. I felt safe with you. I-" I sighed and stood up, put my phone in my pocket, still not facing them. I was a crying mess. "I'll come back" and ran towards the door and got out of there. I ran out of the building. Not knowing the area I just keep running.
JIN'S P.O.V.
She went through so much. I don't even know what to do.
She got up and ran away. I even called her name for her to come back. But she didn't listen.
I looked at B/F/N but she was still shocked and tears kept rolling down her cheeks.
"I will go after her" I said and ran to follow her.
'She doesn't even know this side of the city. I have to find her as soon as possible.'
I looked around the building and decided to go inside the park. It was a big park with a lake.
I ran looking for her, my vision getting blurred because of the tears. No one was there as the sky was getting darker.
I looked everywhere except the lake. I went there and saw a familiar figure.
She was silently sobbing, sitting on the grass ground, hugging her knees.
I went towards her and bent down on my knees. I tapped her shoulder and she looked up.
Red face, puffy eyes, wet cheeks and tears continuously flowing from her eyes.
"Baby..." I wiped her tears .
"Jin..." she said barely audible and I hummed, "Please go... I wanna be alone"
I hugged her but she pushed me. "Please Jin go" I didn't listen to her and hugged her tightly and shook my head. Her hands were on my chest, trying to push me but I intertwined my hands. "Go..." She started throwing light punches but I didn't budge. "Please Jin..." she said, sobbing. She couldn't push me anymore and seemed to give up. So I started to pat her back and comfort her. Tears leaving my own eyes too.
"It's okay, you did great back then. You didn't just stand there, you fought back. I'm so proud of you." I said. And she relaxed and started crying, "I didn't tell anyone about this, so when I was telling you this I... I relived it." she said while sobbing. I kept comforting her.
It's okay baby, I'm here." I said, caressing her hair.
She stopped crying after a few minutes.
"Let's go back everyone must be worried..." she sniffed.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah..." she breathed. I held her hand in mine, 'it fits perfectly' I thought. "Let's... let's walk fast... I'm a bit thirsty..." she said.
"Oh! Wait here" I let go of her hand and ran towards the convenience store across the street. I hurried back to her after grabbing a bottle.
"You didn't have to... we were going to the dorm anyways." she smiled.
"I can do anything for this smile" I mumbled.
"Huh?" she seemed clueless. I chuckled.
"Nothing" I handed her the bottle after opening it.
"Thank you Jin" she gulped down half of it and passed it to me. "You should drink too, you just ran."
"Ah... yeah... thanks" I finished the water and squeezed the cap and put it inside the bottle so no one can reuse it and threw it in the nearest dustbin.
"Let's go now" she held my hand and walked in front of me. She looked around "Oh... you lead the way" she giggled and I admired her. 'She looks like a kid while giggling like that.' I thought.
"Haha, okay"
And we went to the dorm.
