"The seizure didn't seem to have any after-effects on your brain. You do seem fine to go home."

Tsukishima stared at the doctor. "His memory has gotten worse. That's an effect on his brain."

Yamaguchi pulled on Tsukishima's sleeve. "I try."

"I know you try, Tadashi. But he's not answering any questions."

"Tsuki… Please."

Tsukishima took a deep breath. "Right. Sorry."

Yamaguchi grabbed the rails on his bed and slid into his wheelchair. "It's normal with all of them. I'm tired… Too."

Tsukishima glared at the doctor. He was the third one that week who had looked at the couple with a side-eye and refused more information on what had happened to Yamaguchi.

Tsukishima took Yamaguchi to the library every time he had to go. Yamaguchi was never alone because of the constant worry over another seizure. Yamaguchi felt awful most of the time, having to write everything down.

Tsukishima struggled greatly to help while working two jobs and their need for him all the time.

"Do you want to go home?"

Yamaguchi nodded. He looked up, reaching his arms up and holding Tsukishima's face. "Love you."

"I love you too."

"So much. Don't be mad love."

Tsukishima helped him into his car. "I'll try."

****

Yamaguchi stood, shaky. He grabbed his cane, walking into his living room. Tsukishima was walking in from work, looking tired.

"Tsuki!"

"Oh hello, angel. Are you feeling okay?"

"Mhmm! Sleepy?"

"A little." Tsukishima walked over, hugging him and kissing his hair. "You look nice."

"Thank you!"

Tsukishima smiled. He scooped up the smaller male. "We need to start on dinner."

"Early?"

"Yes, love. We're doing something after dinner and I don't want you getting cold."

"Ooh."

Tsukishima sat him on a tall stool with a backing on it. He got him close to the counter and set down a cutting board, knife, and an onion. "Wait for me to grab some gum."

Yamaguchi smiled, happy to help. He was given gum and he carefully cut the onion in front of him. He was given a few other vegetables and Tsukishima cut up some chicken. Over time they managed to make curry and Tsukishima got out the rice that he'd made during his break.

They ate on the floor of the kitchen, talking quietly. When it got darker Tsukishima hurried him to the park in his wheelchair.

"What's this?"

"We are going for a walk."

Yamaguchi furrowed his brows, confused. "At night?"

"Yes. At night."

"Scary." Yamaguchi stretched.

Tsukishima rubbed his hair, still rolling him down a trail.

Yamaguchi noticed lights that weren't usually in the park. Why were they going to the fountain? Tsukishima said it was dirty and didn't like it very much. Why were they doing this? "Tsuki?"
