We park the car, the hotel is high up on a huge hill, the view is perfect.
Ollie drags both of our suit cases out of the boot and we grab our stuff and head for the reception.
"Room for Ollie Turner?" Ollie says to the guy at the reception.
"Ah yes, room for two. You'll be staying in room 203, here are your key cards and the elevator is right behind you" the guy who's name tag reads 'conner' says in a strong Scottish accent.
I smile at him as we turn and head to the elevator.
We step in the lift and press the button for the third floor.
I look at the race pass that's around my neck which tells us when each race is.
"The first race is tomorrow, so we have tonight to explore" I say examining the pass.
"Cool I've never been Scotland before" Ollie says looking at his watch. "We'll get settled then we'll explore" he says grabbing my hand and kissing it.
We open the door to our hotel room, it's huge with two single white beds, an en suite bathroom and a balcony.
We just dump our suit cases, I change my shoes and put converse on, Ollie grabs a hoodie and we head straight out eager to look around Scotland before it gets dark.
We walk hand in hand admiring our new surroundings.
"You should really of got a jacket" Ollie says.
"Don't be silly I'll be fine" I smile up at him.
"It's nice and quite here" Ollie says as we walk down a tree path, looking up the branches and the leaves cover the sky and all I can see are the specks of light making it's way through the leaves as I walk by.
"It's so peaceful" I murmur, mesmerised by my surroundings.
"Scotland or London?" Ollie asks.
"Don't get me wrong I love London but I like the peaceful side to Scotland, I don't want to live in London my whole life, I want to travel"
"I want to travel too, with you" Ollie's words make to blush and look down.
"You look cute when you blush" he adds.
"I don't" is all I say.
"You do now give me a kiss" he says cheekily.
"Nopeee" I drag it out and put on my best cute voice.
"Did you just say no? Don't make me tickle you till you give in" he says in a playful tone.
All I do is screech and bolt down the path running my fastest and laughing.
I can hear his laughter and heavy footsteps right behind me.
I can see the end of that path, the light spilling in as I run closer. I stop abruptly in my tracks mesmerised by the picture in front of me.
Standing at the top of a cliff, looking down on the rippling water as it reflects the bright orange sunset, the deep red and yellow colours blazing into my deep brown eyes.
The sun is hiding itself behind a scatter of little beautiful mountains.
It's captivating.
I glance at Ollie and he's admiring the view, mouth in the shape of an 'o'.
My eyes go back to the glorious sunset.
"It's absolutely beautiful" my mouth fumbles out the words that have been stuck in my brain the minute I saw it.
