Storm is awkwardly stuttering out gibberish to Evan, who's laughing, completely oblivious to the fact that she likes him, in true Miraculous fashion.
An energy bolt flies towards them, and Storm knocks the boy to the ground, then starts screaming at the villain. "NO, NOT THE MIDWAY!!! HAVE YOU NO SOUL?!!" She whispers to Evan out of the corner of her mouth. "Get out of here! Get everyone you can out of here!!!"
"But-!"
"Go, boy!!!" She hisses back at him. He crawls away, and Gayle flies out from under her hair, crossing her tiny legs and smirking.
"Hmm..! Meeting a potential boyfriend in the arcade, I see? Well, you know what they say: Love's a game!"
"Like Russian Roulette, as Kat would say! OMIGOSH!!! I hope that she's okay!"
"Worry about that if Raven can't fix everything."
"Sorry, you're right. Gayle, FANGS OUT!!!" Storm transforms in a not-at-all-obvious flash of light and draws her boomerang. "Hey Cyberbrat! Over here!" Ariadne vaults off of an arcade unit and throws her weapon directly into the villain's face, then lands on the wall running. "I love spider powers!!!" She yells out exuberantly, but her face is worried.
Where are you, Raven?
-Elsewhere-
Kat desperately runs down a street, dodging blasts of energy that either change citizens into energy, or drivers of their own tanks. As the possessed civilians are forced to battle for their lives, Kat dashes down a side street.
"Here!" Tokka squeaks out, and Kat immediately spins around and reads the sign of the shop that's in front of her.
Kat gasps in shock as Mister Yu walks out of his shop to meet her, but she hands him Tokka regardless.
"I did not intend for you to know my true identity so soon, but I see that you had no other choice." He takes the kwami inside and lays her down onto a small cushion. "The shot only grazed her wing. I can heal her, but it will take several minutes. In the meantime-" He presents her with a large ornate box. "-Kat Bene, (My mom's maiden name!) pick a Miraculous from the Miracle Box to aid you in your mission."
Kat's eyes reflect the rainbow of hues of all the different Miraculous, and she hovers a hand excitedly over them, then zeroes in on one. "What does this one do?"
Yu smiles. "The Miraculous of the Mongoose is capable of causing a massive energy surge."
"-Which would render a cybernetic villain powerless! Brilliant!!!"
"When your own kwami has healed, I will bring her to you. After that, I'll take the Mongoose-"
"-Wait." Kat interjects. "I have a two-phase plan, but I'll still need that Miraculous to make it work. After I'm done using it, I'd like to temporarily entrust it to a person whom I believe is the ideal match for it, if I may." Kat bites her lip anxiously, waiting for a response.
