 Addiction.

When you think of addiction, you probably think of drugs or alcohol.

Those are the serious addictions, right?

While those are the most serious addictions, they aren't what we're dealing with in this book today.

If you're currently struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction, please, tell someone and get help. These are serious problems that could harm you. Your life is worth more than the momentary high you get from drugs or alcohol.

The addictions we'll be talking about today are the ones that don't usually show outwardly. They're addictions you can easily keep secret.

Pornography, erotic literature, masterbation, these addictions are the ones this book will be specifically dealing with.

I want you to know that struggling with these addictions, and addictions like this, don't make you worth any less than you are.

You're still a child of God, made in His perfect image, regardless of your struggles.

And even if you're not addicted to one of these things, this book can still be helpful.

Maybe you're just doing some things you know you shouldn't and you don't know how you can live without them.

I'm here to help you, and so is God.

That's why I'm writing this. I want to give you practical advice about removing these things from your life and breaking free from the slavery to your addictions.
