I fluttered my eyes open. Jahseh was putting some shoes on.
"Where are you going?" I rubbed my eyes
"I'll be back" he says as he came over and kissed my forehead.
"You know the rules. Do not leave this house and do not open that door for nobody" he said. I nodded my head.
"I love you" he expressed
"I love you too" I returned. He then left and soon after I could hear the front door open and then close. I stretched and got up to get some breakfast. I made a quick bowl of cereal and ate it in the living room while I watched TV. My phone kept getting notifications so I checked what it was.

I unlocked my phone and turned my read receipts on so she wouldn't know I seen them before I clicked on one of the messages. I then went to one of the messages. I screenshot then and then blocked her. I continued to watch TV. I went to go rinse my bowl out and put it in the dishwasher. I went back to the couch and scrolled through my phone.

I heard a key go in the door and the door opened. It was Jahseh.
"Hi" I greeted
"Hey sis" he returned
"Did you eat?" He questioned
"Yeah like an hour ago" I answered
"Okay good" he says before going in the fridge
"Where did you go?" I asked
"Jah'liyah I told you not to worry about it" he said sternly
"Okay sorry" I apologized
"Your brother said he wants you to call him" he informed
"Okay" I said as I went to his contact. Just then there was really loud and aggressive banging on the door...............
