Katie danced all night with the handsom stranger until she was falling over with fatigue, or it may have been the wine that she had never before tasted.

Thearsa helped her into a nightdress and Katie fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.

Katie woke with a pain in her head and a raw stomach which she assumed is an after effect of the wine. She checked her sundial clock and it was midday. She groaned and got up.

Her breakfast was layed out on the table for her and it was already cold, but katie downed the mug of tea in two mouthfuls.

Beside katies breakfast there was a sealed envelope that was addressed to her. She ripped open the envelope and there was a short letter inside.

Dearest Katherine,

Dancing with you at the ball last night was wonderful and i wish to meet you again today.

Meet me under the cherry tree at half twelve. Bring a sun hat.
