Ezra's POV

Ya I'm back in his office, I'm also tied to a chair. He's also sharpening a knife. I'm also starving.

The knife touches my neck—just a whisper of steel against skin, but enough to make the air around us snap tight.

"You just never learn, do you?" Luca snarls, his voice sharp enough to cut on its own.

I tilt my head slightly, unbothered. "I've never stabbed your men before," I reply, tone dry.

He steps in, eyes locked on mine, every movement coiled and deliberate. The heat rolling off him is palpable.

"What did I say last night?" he demands, his voice low and lethal.

I shrug. "Literally? You said not to disrespect your brothers. You never said anything about your men."

He glares at me "I didn't think I had to say don't stab my men," he snaps.

I roll my eyes. "Well, maybe next time be a little more specific."

His jaw tightens. The blade stays right where it is, but I can feel the storm gathering behind his eyes.

"How's this for specific," Luca says, voice like gravel and steel. "You will not disrespect anyone in this house. You will not start any more fights. You will follow orders. If someone tells you to do something, you'll do it."

As he speaks, the blade slides up my leg—slow, deliberate. The tip kisses skin, slicing just enough to sting.

My breath catches for half a second, but I don't give him the satisfaction of seeing it rattle me.

'You will follow orders... someone tells you to do something, you'll do it.' Does he think I'm some kind of maid?

I narrow my eyes at him. "I'm not a fucking maid."

A slow, dangerous smirk curves across his lips. "I could always dress you like one."

My glare deepens, but the flush burning under my skin has nothing to do with anger.

I roll my eyes hard enough to see the ceiling. "Anything else, sir?" I spit the title with venom, daring him to push further.

His smirk doesn't fade. If anything, it grows.

There's a pause—thick, electric.

He knows I'm not scared of him.
And I know he kind of likes that.

His voice drops to a whisper, hot against my ear. "You're mine. No one else's."

The words hit like a punch to the gut. I freeze for a moment, feeling the weight of them settle in the air between us.

"No one will touch you like I will touch you. No one will look at you the way I do," he continues, his breath warm against my skin. "Because, princess, you are mine. And only mine."

I pull back, the heat on my face rising as my body bristles with anger. "Excuse me?" I snarl, meeting his eyes with a fierce glare.

"I'm no one's," I spit out, every word dripping with defiance.

I can't even believe what I'm hearing. We've known each other less than a month, and he thinks he has some claim over me? We're not werewolves. This isn't some alpha pack bullshit.

Luca chuckles, that dark, dangerous laugh that sends a chill straight down my spine.

"That's where you're wrong, princess," he murmurs, leaning in close. His breath brushes against my neck, sending a shiver down my spine. "If I have to carve my name into your skin for the whole world to see..."
