Luca's POV
Killian sucker punched her in the temple knocking her out.
"She's a psychopath," Killian exclaims, his voice filled with disbelief. His gaze never leaves her, the weight of the situation sinking in.
"How the hell did she almost take us out?" Roman continues, his voice shaking with irritation. "She was alone."
I can't help but let out a sigh, my hand rubbing my temples.
I've been in this game long enough to know that nothing is ever as it seems, but this woman? She's an anomaly—too unpredictable, too dangerous for her own good. And she's making us look like amateurs.
"We'll see what our parents say to do with her," I announce, trying to keep my cool, though the situation is starting to frustrate me more than I care to admit.
I move quickly, grabbing her and throwing her over my shoulder with ease.
We head to the car, but when we get there, the sight of it—our car—completely blown to hell, hits harder than anything she could've done to us.
"That's just great," Roman sighs, looking at the smoldering wreckage. "Great. Just great."
I can see the frustration building in his posture, the disbelief still written all over his face.
"We seem pathetic right now," Killian scoffs,
He's right. It feels like we've been completely outplayed, and I'm starting to wonder if maybe she's been one step ahead of us the whole time.
I glance at the ruined car again, my mind racing. How did she do it?
"We wait to be picked up by our parents," I mutter, already trying to make sense of the situation.
We have no choice but to regroup, figure out how to spin this disaster in our favor. For now, though, there's nothing more we can do but wait.

A Few Hours Later
The room is thick with tension as our parents sit in front of the security footage. My mom sighs, rubbing her temple in frustration as she watches the events unfold.
"There's no doubt she's an assassin," she mutters, her voice tinged with concern.
My dad leans back in his chair, his hands folded tightly in front of him as he watches, his jaw tight with anger.
"How the hell did that girl manage to take out all of our backup, take out the cartel leader and his backup, and then almost take you three out? All by herself," he says quietly, but I can hear the fire building behind his words. Then, suddenly, his voice raises. "All by herself!"
We all exchange glances, none of us knowing how to respond to the sheer audacity of it all. How did she do it?
"She outmuscled you all, outsmarted you all," my dad continues, pacing now, his anger radiating. "Find out who she is, and if you don't, I'll do it my way."
I can feel the weight of his threat hanging in the air.
"You might as well do it your way, dad," Killian mutters under his breath, not even bothering to meet my father's eyes.
He's right though. We've been made to look like fools, and there's no denying it.
My mom cuts through the tension, her voice steady, though there's a knowing look in her eyes. "I think the reason she outmuscled you guys," she starts, and we all groan at once, bracing ourselves for her usual cryptic take.
