Ezra's POV
I'm just finishing getting ready for bed when the door creaks open.
Of course. He was bound to come in sooner or later.
I turn around, meeting Luca's eyes. My lips curve into a teasing smile. "I wonder why you're in here, Vincenzo."
His gaze locks on me, and the air shifts, charged and heavy. He takes a slow step forward, closing the distance between us. "I was just checking up on you, princess," he says, his voice lower than usual.
He places his hands on my waist—firm, but gentle. The heat from his touch spreads through me. "Really?" I say, lifting an eyebrow, trying to keep my voice steady.
He nods, the movement almost too slow, deliberate. Then, his lips twitch upward in that trademark smirk. "So how are you doing?"
"I'm great," I answer, my hands instinctively reaching up to slide around his neck, pulling him a little closer. The proximity feels intoxicating.
His hand slips into his pocket, and I feel the weight of his every movement, each one deliberate, drawing out the anticipation. He pulls out a pair of handcuffs—metal glinting in the dim light.
I raise an eyebrow, watching him with a mix of curiosity and something... sharper.
I can't help but smirk. "You're real happy about those handcuffs."
His grin widens. "I am." He steps closer, pushing me back toward the bed with a single, slow motion that makes my heart race.
I hit the edge of the mattress, and my breath catches in my throat.
His smile—it's so damn cute. And yet, there's something dangerous in the way his eyes flicker over me, something that makes me feel like I'm balancing on the edge of something I can't quite control.
Before I can process what's happening, Luca picks me up effortlessly, his hands steady on my waist. My breath hitches as he moves me with ease, placing me in the center of the bed. The motion is both gentle and commanding, and it sends a spark of something electric through me.
He takes off my shirt. "You really took this to a whole new level." I sigh. "Only for you." He winks as he cuffs me to the headboard.
Luca presses a soft, kiss to my lips, the touch light—just a whisper against my skin. My breath catches at the softness of it, but it's the way he pulls back just enough to study my face that makes my heart race.
Then, without a word, he starts trailing kisses down my jaw, each one slow, deliberate, as if he's memorizing the feel of my skin. His lips are warm, gentle, and when they land on my neck, I can't help but shiver.
It makes my heart race, makes the air around us heavy with the weight of all the unsaid things.
He starts kissing and sucking on my neck slowly. He takes off my shorts and underwear, then he swiftly unclips my bra.
His hand moves again, this time lower, gliding down the side of my waist. The touch is gentle. Every inch of his fingers feels like a spark against my skin, sending a rush of warmth straight through me.
His hands move to the inside of my thighs, widening them for him. I can feel the tension building between us, the pull that's been there since the moment we met, but now, it's more than just attraction.
I feel the rapid thump of my heart, racing in time with my quickened breath. It's a mixture of anticipation and something else—something I can't quite place.
I can't stop the way my body leans into him, the pull between us undeniable. His hand moves lower, but it's not just his touch that's affecting me.
He places his middle finger on my clit and starts slowly running his fingers in circling motions, I start moving my hips with his fingers.
