Chapter 38

Luca's POV

I'm walking in the hallway.

"She didn't tell me anything." I look down at Ezra. "She said she was fine, but." She stops talking than she sighs. "I know she's not."

She looks up at me. "Can you talk to her tomorrow, it's late right now. So she's probably sleeping." She rambles on, then starts to play with her hands. "I'll talk to her tomorrow." I say. She smiles softly. "Thank you."

Before I could say anything else.
I hear a scream.

We both look at each other, than immediately start running down the hallway.

We run, all the way to Lily's room. Ezra quickly opens the door and we see Lily tossing.

"Do something." She says as I look at her.

She points to herself as she says. "What... you have experience." Than she points to Lily. "I've only ever been in that position."

I walk over to the bed as Ezra follows me. I sit down on the bed as she sits on the floor.

"Lily." I say. She continues tossing and turning. "Stop." She says as tears continue to fall down her face. "It's ok." I say as she slowly stops shaking. "You're ok Lily, wake up." I continue. Her eyes shoot open. She sits up immediately and looks around the room, still breathing heavily.

She looks at me, she leans closer to me and hides her face in my chest as she starts crying again.

I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up and see Ezra standing up. "I'm getting her a glass of water." She says as I nod.

She starts to walk out the door. "Wait mom where are you going." Lily lifts her head up. "I'm just getting you a glass of water, I'll be back." Ezra smiles at her. "Oh ok."

After Lily calms down a little. I reach over to the night stand and grab a tissue box.

"Are you implying that I have a boogers in my nose." She looks up at me as I hand her the tissue box. "I was giving you the tissue box to wipe your tears... but that too." I shrug.

After she wiped her face I ask. "What was it about?" She looks at me. "Umm." She pauses for a moment. "Nothing." She shrugs as Ezra walks in and hands her water.

Ezra sits down next to Lily. After she finished drinking some of the water she leans her head on Ezra's arm.

"Can you both stay?" She asks. "Ya we can." Ezra responds kissing her temple. "I call middle though." Lily moves to the middle of the bed.

Next morning

I slowly wake up.

I look over. I see Lily laying on her back with her head against my arm. Ezra is laying on her stomach with her arm wrapped around Lily.

I close my eyes again because they're both asleep and it's awkward if your the only one awake.

I hate waking up first.

Thirty minutes later

I wake up again.
This time I feel a weight on my chest.

I look down and see Ezra sound asleep with her head on my chest. I feel a smile come across my face as I stare at her. I pull her closer to me, not that she could get any more closer. I just hold her tight. Well because I know when she wakes up, she'll go back to hating me.

I feel her start moving. I look down at her and see her eyes slowly open. I stop holding her as tight, because I expect her to sit up.

Instead she wraps her arm around me and brings her body closer to mine. She than hides her head in my neck. I feel my heart beating rapidly and I feel my face heat up.
