Chapter Ten...LOOK OUT!

Without warning Rouge jumped down causing the others to gasp in fear. He quickly flew down grabbing Stan and Waddles, then turned onto his back and landed onto the large red mushroom at the bottom having them bounce off and land into the mud. Stan groaned and looked towards Waddles who was rolling around in the mud.

"You would be enjoying this." He Oinked and continued rolling. Stan rolled his eyes and looked towards Rouge who landed onto his back and was staring up into the sky.

"Hey kid you alright?" Rouge nodded and exhaled out of his nose before letting out a small screech of pain. Stan quickly got up and dragged both pink creatures under a giant leaf and out of sight from the creature.

The others panicked as they didn't know what to do. They couldn't just jump down there and rescue them, they might accidentally kill themselves.

"Uhm...dudes?" The group turned around and gasped as they saw the giant egg starting to crack causing them to back up against the nest. Soon the egg cracked and out popped the head of a small baby pterodactyl. It squeaked and coo'ed causing the group to awe it. The old man smiled and walked forward with his hands clasped.

"Welcome to the world little feller-" it screeched and bit the old males leg throwing him up into the air before catching him in his mouth and swallowing him whole causing the others to scream.

Stan sighed and propped his knees up to his chest. Waddles sat in front of him while Rouge continued to lay down next to Stan. Soon the loud angry screech of the mother pterodactyl screeched causing Stan to stiffen and look towards Waddles.

"The dumb thing must be hungry...we'll! It's you or me pig." He quickly stood up looking side to side before slowly pushing Waddles out from under the large mushroom before sitting back down and scooting all the way to the back, making sure he stayed hidden from the prehistoric dinosaur.

"Was that a wise decision?" Stan looked towards Rouge and grumbled before looking back at the pig. Rouge exhaled from his nose and slowly sat up.
"This whole mission was about saving Waddles was it not?" Stan sighed and looked down.

"I don't know Rouge, I mean we're literally hiding from a prehistoric dinosaur for crying out loud! There's no way we'd make it out of this alive with Waddles." He looked back down and glared seeing Waddles starring at him.

"What are you looking at?" Waddles stayed silent and simply cocked his head to the side. "Aw come on don't give me that look! what am I supposed to do let it eat me?!" Waddles continued to stare making Stan growl and stand up. "ARGH! I know what your trying to do! Your trying to guilt trip me! Well it ain't working pal! Who cares if your Mable's favorite this in the world. I can live without the kid talking to me all the time...telling me her jokes...making me laugh." He side and looked down before looking back towards Waddles. The pink smiled and oinked twice causing Stan to chuckle, but the happy moment was short lived as the dinosaur saw Waddles and screeched before flying towards him. "Ah dang it."

He quickly picked up the pig carrier and quickly placed Rouge in it and gave him Waddles. "Welp, this is probably the most dumbest thing I've ever done." He moved them both to his back and buckled the belt.

"You want this pig? WELL YOUR GONNA HAVE TO GO THREW ME! YOU FLYING DEVIL!" The dinosaur screeched as it got closer causing Stan to take a running start and jump into the air getting closer towards the monsters head.

Mable, Dipper, and Soos backed away from the baby dinosaur as it coughed up the old man's hat.

"Aw dude did it really just eat that prospector guy? That is really messed up." The old male quickly crawled up the baby's throat and put the mouth waving towards the group showing that he was ok before getting swallowed back up. The three gasped and scooted closer towards the branches Dipper slowly starting to panic.
