THE COLD NIGHT snatched the heat from Asuka's body as a cruel rush of freezing air mercilessly met her bare stomach and legs the second her body was thrown from the vehicle. Colliding with the cold, hard concrete with a bodily thud, sparks flew in her vision as her cheekbone smashed against the ground, her breath swiftly knocked from her lungs, escaping with a wordless cry. With a harsh cough, she could hear two others getting thrown after, one landing beside her with a resounding grunt due to the impact as their body connected with the ground, the other almost landing on top of her, barely able to slide themself to the side with a pain-filled whine.

Moments of suspended silence drifted into the tense air surrounding the three of them, the violently shivering woman could barely speak past a broken gasp as the coldness of the ground beneath her sunk into the skin of her stomach and chest, sinking deeper into her coiled muscles.

From the way she landed, she deduced that her knees had hit the ground first, thanks to the throbbing sensation emitting from the blooming red welt carved into her kneecap from where her knees connected with the concrete, her chest and stomach came soon after, and her head was the last to hit the concrete, and her head was the final part of her body to react to the situation.

The first she could take note of past her wildly bashing heartbeat pounding in her ears, was that her vision was obscured in pure black as if all the lights in the world had been turned off, and the feeling of tightness wrapped snugly around her head was another clue. It didn't take too long for her to figure out she had been blindfolded. She briefly remembered a pink soldier with a circle on his mask roughly placing one over her head before she was shoved into another direction.

But the added knowledge of being rendered blind caused the women's heartbeat to become even wilder.

She could hear things, though. The only sense she truly had to operate with, but it did nothing to calm her down. Instead it caused a semblance of panic to spread through her chest, unknowing to where she truly was, or if she ever even left the facility in the first place. This could easily be just another trick. This could be one of the next games and they lied to their faces, giving them the illusion of choice as another manipulation tactic. Yet cars could be heard lazily drifting along the road in the distance, crickets nearby singing their nightly tune, and the sound of struggling could be heard from around her.

Unable to move her hands or legs properly due to what felt like the bite of rope wrapped tightly around her wrists and ankles, Asuka could do nothing but flop around uselessly like a fish on dry land in a poor attempt at warming her body up. Her wrists had been tied behind her back, her ankles following suit, though her legs had been granted enough freedom to move around, at least, making her look like a well-wrapped present for anyone who wandered past.
