PAW Patrol [A journey in the Dark]

Another beautiful day in Adventure Bay is on its way. The sun is starting to show up, the bird are chirping and everyone starts heading to their jobs.

-𝙰𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙻𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚘𝚞𝚝-

*Chase wakes up*

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: Ahh, another beautiful day in Adventure Bay, I really hope everyone is doing well, I wouldn't like to make any rescues today.

He walks out of his pup-house, thinking about some stuff that might possibly go wrong in that day.

Suddenly, Marshall approached.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥: Why not?

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: AHH-, Marshall? Why are you up so early? Said Chase, surprised by Marshalls unexpected appearance.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥: I heard you were talking about not wanting to make rescues today, so I got curious, why's that?

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: Oh um- well... I don't know, I just don't feel like it. Looks like I had a pretty bad sleep.

Chase looks down, thinking that he actually slept pretty well, embarrassed of his little lie.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥: It happens.                  
Hey look! The others are waking up as well, do you want to keep them company together while they wake up?

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: You can go do it... I-I don't feel like doing anything right now...

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥: Oh... um... okay... if you say so. Said Marshall, pretty concerned about Chases voice tone, as it was lower than usual.

*Every pup is walking towards Marshall while he was walking away from Chase*

𝐙𝐮𝐦𝐚: Hey dude, ain't Chase awake already?

𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞: Yeah, he should be awake by now.

As Marshall heard those words, he instantly started worrying more and more for his best friend.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥: Chase is awake, but he's not feeling well today, at least that's what I think.

𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐞: Oh no, what happened?

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥: I don't know. He said that he doesn't want to make any rescues today, when I asked him if he wants to go and keep you company, he said that he doesn't feel like doing anything... I'm worried...

𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐲: We all are Marshall, let's tell Ryder about this. Said Rocky, trying to comfort Marshalls worries.

*Chase shows up unexpectedly*

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: NO! He shouted loudly, just a few steps behind the pups.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: Please pups! Don't tell him anything about this..

𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐞: Why not? You really seem to not be in a good mood today.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: Well...-

𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐲: Maybe if you tell Ryder how you feel, you might feel better afterwards.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: I really don't think I will feel much better if I tell him... Can we just, you know, keep it a secret for now..?

𝐙𝐮𝐦𝐚: Are you sure dude? You sure seem out of focus. Said Zuma worried.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: *nods slowly*

*Pups look at each other*

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥: Okay Chase, we will keep it a secret for now.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: Thanks pups..

Chases voice is lower and lower as he speaks, you could barely hear his words.

𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞: *belly rumbles* I don't know about you pups, but I am STARVING!
Let's go eat some breakfast!

*All pups together except Chase*
-Sure! Yeah! Let's go!

𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐞: Are you coming Chase?

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: I'll go eat later, you can just go ahead, I'll wait right here.

*the pups look concerned at each other*

𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐲: Ookay... Just make sure you won't be eating too late, that would not be good at all, alright Chase?

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: *nods slowly*

-All the pups are slowly heading to the lookout, leaving Chase think in peace-

Even though Chase told the pups already that he's not feeling alright, he still didn't feel any better. Something is really up, and he knows it. The question though is....
